Völkl Phantastick Kids Ski Poles

The Phantastick Kids brings the basic construction of the adult model to younger skiers in appropriately shorter lengths. A light, robust 14 mm 5083 aluminum shaft keeps handling simple, while the child-sized grip and length-adjustable strap match smaller hands. The alpine basket and crown steel tip provide secure contact in typical resort snow, with fixed lengths from 70 to 105 cm for growing skiers.

Child-Sized Ergonomics
The Junior Grip and adjustable Junior Strap are shaped and sized for smaller hands.
Light, Robust Aluminum
A 14 mm 5083 aluminum shaft offers easy handling without unnecessary weight.
Shorter Length Selection
Seven fixed lengths from 70 to 105 cm help match the pole to a child’s size and skiing development.
Simple All-Mountain Hardware
An alpine basket and crown steel tip provide dependable contact across everyday resort snow.

Dry After Use
Wipe snow and moisture from the shafts, grips, straps, baskets, tips, and adjustment hardware after skiing. Allow every component to air dry before storage.
Shaft Inspection
Inspect the shafts for cracks, deep impacts, bends, and damaged finishes. Replace poles with structural damage; do not continue skiing on a compromised shaft.
Grips and Straps
Clean grips gently with a damp cloth and inspect straps for fraying or damaged adjustment hardware. Keep the grip surface free of oils and allow damp straps to dry fully.
Baskets and Tips
Check that baskets are secure and not cracked or missing. Inspect tips for excessive wear or looseness, and replace worn components with compatible parts through a qualified retailer.
Junior Sizing and Setup
Confirm that the fixed pole length and strap adjustment remain appropriate as the child grows. A coach or qualified retailer can help select length and demonstrate safe strap use.
Storage
Store poles clean and dry in a cool place away from direct sunlight, heaters, and heavy loads. Keep them where tips cannot cause injury or damage, and avoid prolonged pressure on the shafts.
