From powder days to carving laps, the Smith Vantage 2 Helmet balances lightweight comfort with targeted safety tech to keep you focused on your line. The three-piece hybrid shell reduces weight while maximizing coverage to match the impact zone. Full Koroyd™ compliments Mips® for energy-absorbing impact protection to give you confidence whether exploring in or out of bounds. Dual vent regulators let you independently fine-tune airflow across the top and sides. When it comes to fit, the BOA® 360 Fit System offers micro-adjustability around your whole head with the turn of a dial. Add proven Smith AirEvac™ tech for a fog-free goggle interface, and the Vantage 2 is a dedicated all-mountain partner for storm days, bluebird laps and chasing lines at the resort any day of the season.

Cleaning
Wipe the shell and liner with a damp cloth and mild soap after dusty or sweaty days. Remove the ear pads and liner for hand-washing in cold water with a gentle technical-gear cleaner. Do not machine wash, bleach, fabric softener, or standard laundry soap, which can degrade the EPS foam, BOA® dial, and anti-bacterial liner treatments.
Drying
Always air-dry the helmet completely before long-term storage. Pat the liner dry with a clean towel, then prop the helmet in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat. Avoid leaving the helmet in a hot car or near radiators, which can warp the shell and degrade the EPS foam.
EPS Inspection
Inspect the EPS foam liner after any hard impact, even if no damage is visible. Crushed, dented, or cracked foam means the helmet should be replaced, as EPS is engineered to absorb a single impact. Most helmet manufacturers also recommend replacing any helmet after 5 years of regular use, regardless of impact history.
BOA® and Buckle Care
Periodically check the BOA® dial and Fidlock® buckle for grit or ice buildup. Wipe with a dry cloth and clear any debris from the dial mechanism. The BOA® system is warrantied for the lifetime of the helmet, but the strap and buckle should be replaced if they show fraying or signs of wear.
Storage
Store the helmet in the included bag in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. UV exposure degrades the shell and EPS foam over time. Avoid resting heavy objects on top of the helmet, which can compress the EPS and reduce impact protection.

Components:

All component items (wheels, drivetrains, suspension, brakes, etc.) ship within 4-7 business days of purchase.

Bicycles:

Complete bikes typically ship within 2–3 weeks due to build, tuning, and inspection times. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is ready to ship.

 Gear & Apparel:

Outdoor Gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 5-21 business days. Please reach out to us with the most up to date deliveries times as they vary per Manufacturer. 

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
