Advanced mobility. Distraction-free climbing. This is the Women's Summit Series Off Width Jacket. Born on the wall, this highly wind-resistant layer is engineered with lightweight, stretch-woven fabric and an articulated construction for full range of motion. The slim, close-to-body fit is designed for comfort while wearing a harness — and when not in use, the jacket stows in an internal hood pouch with a carabiner attachment loop so it can clip to your rack.

WINDWALL™ Wind-Resistant Fabric
Highly wind-resistant WINDWALL™ main body fabric blocks wind penetration and greatly reduces the effects of wind chill on the wall — keeps the core warm during belay sessions and long approaches without the bulk of a hardshell.
Targeted Stretch-Woven Panels
Targeted use of lightweight stretch-woven fabric in the back panel and underarm gussets delivers range of motion where you need it most — reaches overhead for the next hold without the body of the jacket pulling at the shoulders.
Non-PFC DWR Finish
A non-PFC DWR finish on both fabrics causes light rain, flurries, and approach-mist to bead up and roll off — adds extra weather protection to the wind-resistant system without compromising breathability.
89% Recycled Nylon Main Body
Main body fabric is made with 89% recycled nylon; center-back and underarm fabric is made with 85% recycled nylon — premium Summit Series performance with a much lighter footprint on the planet.
Climbing-Helmet-Compatible Hood
A pre-tensioned, adjustable, climbing-helmet-compatible hood features a bonded brim and cinch-cord adjustment in back — fits cleanly over a climbing helmet on cold alpine starts without restricting peripheral vision.
Stows in Hood Pouch with Carabiner Loop
The jacket stows in an internal hood pouch that doubles as a storage pocket — the pouch has a webbing loop for carabiner attachment so the jacket can clip to your harness or pack when not in use.
Darted Articulated Sleeves
Sleeves feature darted articulation and underarm gussets for mobility — the darting pre-shapes the elbow for high reaches and the gussets open up underarm range for stemming and laybacks.
Water-Resistant VISLON® Center Zip
A water-resistant VISLON® center front zip with an internal kissing welt keeps wind and light precip out at the most exposed entry point — the kissing welt prevents zipper chafing on layers underneath.
Water-Resistant Hand Pockets
Hand pockets with exposed, water-resistant, reverse-coil zips keep small essentials close and dry — the interior features laser-cut perforations for air permeability to vent excess heat on hard approaches.

1 × Women's Summit Series Off Width Jacket

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild technical wash — close all zippers before tossing it in.

Turn the jacket inside-out before washing to protect the bonded Bemis-ladder cuff construction, the bonded brim, and the internal kissing welt on the center front zip.

Tumble dry on low heat for 20-30 minutes to reactivate the non-PFC DWR finish — heat is essential to keep water beading on the surface rather than saturating the WINDWALL™ and stretch-woven face fabrics.

Do not bleach, do not use fabric softener, and do not use dryer sheets — all three can coat the WINDWALL™ fabric and degrade the DWR finish, the breathability, and the FLASHDRY™ + FLASHDRY™ PRO moisture-wicking performance.

Do not iron, do not dry clean, and do not wring the jacket when wet — wringing can damage the flat-bonded critical seams, the Bemis-ladder cuff bonding, and the elastane fibers in the stretch panels.

Re-apply a non-PFC DWR spray-on treatment (like Nikwax TX Direct or Granger's Performance Repel) after several washes or whenever water stops beading on the surface — refreshes the water-shedding performance of both the WINDWALL™ body and the stretch-woven side panels.

Check the Bemis-ladder cuff bonding and flat-bonded seams periodically for any separation — small bonding failures can be repaired with a fabric adhesive (like Gear Aid Tenacious Tape) before they become a real issue on the wall.

Hang the jacket on a wide hanger to dry fully between uses. Store hanging or loosely folded in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area — long-term compression can damage the Bemis-ladder cuff bonding and the flat-bonded critical seams.
