We built the Women’s Summit Series Nuptse Jacket for the mountain with 800 fill ProDown™ insulation to retain loft in wet conditions and CLOUD DOWN construction to help reduce cold spots.

FLASHDRY™
Quick-drying knit technology in the cuffs
Cleaning
Machine wash cold (30 °C) on a gentle cycle with a down-specific, mild detergent. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or stain remover — bleach damages down clusters and softener coats the Spectra® ripstop and fluorine-free DWR finish, reducing water repellency.
Drying
Tumble dry on low heat with 2–3 clean tennis balls or dryer balls for 60–90 minutes. The balls break up down clumps and restore 800-fill loft. Air dry fully if a dryer isn’t available — trapped moisture in down causes mildew and odor.
ProDown™ Care
ProDown™ is treated for water repellency, so the down resists wetting longer than untreated down. If the down gets damp, dry fully before storage. Periodic tumble dry with balls refreshes loft and the water-repellent treatment.
Spectra® Ripstop
The yoke, collar, and hood use a Spectra®-reinforced ripstop for ultralight durability. Avoid prolonged abrasion against rough surfaces (backpack straps, rocks) to keep the Spectra® yarns intact. Spot-clean the ripstop with a damp cloth when possible.
Re-Proofing
The fluorine-free DWR finish can be refreshed by tumble drying on low heat. When water no longer beads on the face fabric, apply a fluorine-free DWR spray and tumble dry low to bond.
Hood & Stow Pouch
The hood packs into the collar stow pouch when not in use — fold and smooth the hood before tucking to avoid creasing the Spectra® ripstop. The pre-tensioned elastic opening keeps the hood ready when deployed.
Zipper Care
The two-way #3 YKK® VISLON® center front zip and the secure-zip hand and stash pocket zips need to be kept free of grit. Brush gently with a soft toothbrush and rinse as needed. Lubricate sparingly with a silicone-based zipper lubricant if the pull becomes stiff.
Cuffs & Hem
The stretch-knit FLASHDRY™ cuffs dry quickly and stretch with use — they don’t need re-sizing. The internal hem cinch-cord has riveted cord locks on both sides; tighten each side evenly for a balanced fit.
Stuffsack & Storage
Use the included lightweight stuffsack for transport. For long-term storage, store uncompressed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight — compression for extended periods reduces down loft. Do not store in a tightly packed stuffsack between uses.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
