Women's Shellista V Shorty WP
Winter Boot · Women · Waterproof · HEATSEEKER™ 200g · IcePick® Lug

The new Women's Shellista V Shorty Waterproof Boots are a modern update to the classic Shellista winter boots. They have a lower height for more-versatile styling and HEATSEEKER™ insulation for warmth on cold days. The waterproof construction incorporates a variety of advanced waterproofing materials, treatments, and processes — internal waterproof membranes and adhesive and seam-seal constructions work together to help keep feet dry.

Majority-Suede Upper
Upper constructed primarily from suede leather — durable, abrasion-resistant, and naturally weather-resistant for daily winter wear. TNF purchases 100% of its leather from Leather Working Group-certified tanneries, supporting responsible leather production.
Tub-Style Boot + Short Collar
Tub-style construction with a shorter collar than other Shellista styles — gives a more versatile, modern look that works with any outfit (skinny jeans, leggings, dresses, snow pants) compared to taller traditional pac boots.
Lightweight, Flexible Shell
Lightweight and flexible shell construction provides more mobility than rigid pac-boot designs — easier to walk long distances, drive in, and wear for full days of winter errands or après-ski lounging without fatigue.
Waterproof, Seam-Sealed Construction
Waterproof, seam-sealed construction uses internal waterproof membranes plus adhesive and seam-seal treatments — fully waterproof protection against slush, snow, puddles, and wet pavement, not just water-resistant.
200g HEATSEEKER™ Synthetic Insulation
200g HEATSEEKER™ synthetic insulation delivers reliable warmth in cold conditions — synthetic fill retains insulating performance even when damp and dries faster than down, ideal for snow, slush, and wet winter conditions.
High-Pile Fleece Collar
Cozy high-pile fleece collar wraps the ankle in soft, warm comfort — seals out cold air and snow entry at the top of the boot while feeling plush against bare legs or tights.
Fleece Lining
Fleece lining throughout provides ultimate warmth against the foot — soft, breathable, and quick-drying for all-day comfort during cold-weather wear.
IcePick® Rubber Lugs
IcePick® rubber lugs are molded on the softer SURFACE CTRL™ outsole and harden when the temperature falls below freezing — delivers biting traction on ice and frozen surfaces exactly when you need it most, then stays flexible in milder temperatures.
4.5mm Lug Spacing
Substantial spacing between the 4.5 mm lugs provides traction on snow and mud and allows debris to release from the outsole — prevents snow packing and mud buildup that would otherwise reduce grip on winter terrain.
SURFACE CTRL™ Outsole (10% Regenerative Rubber)
Durable SURFACE CTRL™ outsole optimized for weight and versatility, made with 10% rubber from smallholder farmers committed to agroforestry principles and regenerative agriculture practices — supports responsible sourcing and sustainable rubber production.

Cleaning
Brush off dried mud, salt, and slush with a soft brush after each wear — salt is the most damaging residue for suede and accelerates leather degradation. For tougher stains, use a suede brush and suede cleaner specifically designed for the material. Never machine wash, which damages the suede upper, the seam-sealed waterproofing, and the IcePick® lug construction.
Drying
Air dry at room temperature away from direct heat. Remove the insoles and loosen the laces to allow air circulation inside the boot. Never place near a radiator, fire, or heater — direct heat damages the suede, dries out the leather, and can delaminate the waterproof seam-seal construction.
Suede Care
Treat the suede upper periodically with a suede-specific protector spray to maintain water and stain resistance — the factory DWR treatment on suede wears off with use, especially in wet snow and salt conditions. Re-apply at the start of each winter season or after heavy use.
Salt Stain Removal
Wipe salt stains with a damp cloth and a small amount of white vinegar — the mild acid neutralizes the salt crystals that leave white marks on suede and prevents long-term damage to the leather fibers. Let air dry after treatment.
Insulation Care
HEATSEEKER™ synthetic insulation is more durable than down and recovers from compression easily — if the boots lose loft after a long winter of wear, a few hours of air drying with the insoles removed restores the insulation performance.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use boot trees or stuff with paper to maintain the shape during the off-season. Don't store wet or with salt residue — clean and dry the boots thoroughly before putting them away for spring/summer storage.
