Technology

DryVent™ 2L
Two-layer waterproof breathable laminate with recycled face fabric and DWR finish
Windwall™
Wind-resistant fleece-backed fabric — less than 4 CFM air permeability
Heatseeker™ Eco
Advanced synthetic insulation using 70% post-consumer recycled polyester with dual-fiber construction
Cleaning
Machine wash cold (30 °C) on a gentle cycle with a mild technical detergent. Use two rinse cycles to fully flush the DWR finish and down chamber soap residue. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or stain remover — these degrade the DryVent™ 2L membrane, strip the non-PFC DWR finish, and can damage the 550 Fill RDS-certified goose down.
Drying
Tumble dry on medium heat for 45–60 minutes to fully dry the down insulation — damp down clumping inside the chambers can lead to cold spots and mildew. Include 2–3 clean tennis balls or dryer balls in the drum to break up down clumping and restore full loft. High heat also reactivates the DWR finish on the DryVent™ 2L shell.
Down Care
The 550 Fill RDS-certified goose down in the body, hood, and sleeves needs to be fully dried after every wash. Never store the suit damp or compressed — always dry completely before packing. If the down loses loft over time, tumble dry on medium with tennis balls to restore it.
Heatseeker™ Eco Insulation
The 100 g dual-fiber Heatseeker™ Eco synthetic insulation in the underarms and side panels provides warmth even when damp. Unlike down, it tolerates more frequent washing — but always tumble dry on medium to restore loft and prevent fiber compaction.
DryVent™ 2L Shell
The main body, hood, yoke, and side panels use DryVent™ 2L — a two-layer waterproof laminate. The outer ripstop face (64% recycled polyester, 36% recycled nylon) is durable and lightweight; the inner membrane can be affected by harsh detergents and high heat. Reactivate DWR with a medium tumble dry cycle; reapply a PFC-free DWR spray when water stops beading on the face.
Windwall™ Bottoms
The bottoms (91% recycled polyester face, 92% recycled polyester fleece backer) are wind-resistant at less than 4 CFM air permeability. The brushed-tricot fleece backer is cozy but can pill with heavy abrasion — avoid contact with Velcro® and rough surfaces. Wash inside-out on gentle cycle.
Iridescent Ripstop Fabric
The iridescent ripstop on the main body and sleeves is a visual standout but is prone to snagging on rough surfaces (rock, trees, edge guards). Inspect after each ski day for new snags — clip loose threads with sharp scissors to prevent runs. Do not apply stickers or adhesive patches directly to the ripstop face.
Zipper Care
The #5 YKK AquaGuard® ankle zips, the #3 YKK® AquaGuard® hand-pocket zips, the center-front #5 PU-coated reverse-coat zip, and the internal wrist pocket and chest pocket zips all need periodic cleaning. Brush grit and snowmoisture from the zippers after each use and lubricate the Ankle AquaGuard® zips with silicone lubricant if the pull stiffens.
Wrist Gaiters & StretchVent™ Gaiters
The integrated stretch-knit wrist gaiters with thumbholes and internal elastic cuffs should be checked for tears after each use — they prevent snow from entering the sleeve. The StretchVent™ gaiters with gripper elastic at the lower leg keep snow out of your boots; keep the gripper elastic clean and free of debris to maintain its hold over ski boots.
Hood
The removable helmet-compatible hood has a quilted interior and high-shine lining — do not wring or twist the hood when washing or drying. Secure the snap closure and cord-lock before laundering to avoid snagging. Hang-dry the hood separately or tumble dry on medium with the rest of the suit.
Screen-Print & Racing-Stripe Detail
The high-gloss screen-printed logo on the draft flap and the RMO contrast racing-stripe detail can be damaged by harsh detergents, high heat, and direct ironing. Wash inside-out, tumble dry low, and never iron directly on the print or stripe.
Storage
Hang on a wide hanger by the waist tabs or fold loosely in a breathable storage bag. Do not compress the suit for long periods — the 550 Fill down needs room to loft and the Windwall™ fleece backer will develop permanent creases. Keep in a cool, dry place; damp storage causes the down to clump and the DryVent™ membrane to deteriorate.
