The Women's Junction Insulated Parka balances warmth with versatility and technology with classic good looks to create an easy-wearing outer layer. A comfortable lined hood keeps the cold off the head and neck, HEATSEEKER™ synthetic insulation delivers reliable warmth, and a water-repellent finish sheds light rain and wet snow. Built for daily winter wear — commutes, school runs, dog walks, and casual weekends in the cold.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild technical wash — close all zippers and secure any hook-and-loop before tossing it in.
Tumble dry on low heat with two or three clean tennis balls or dryer balls — the balls break up clumps in the HEATSEEKER™ insulation and restore loft after washing. Drying thoroughly is essential to keep the synthetic fill performing at its best.
Do not bleach, do not use fabric softener, and do not use dryer sheets — all three can coat the synthetic fibers and degrade the loft and thermal performance.
Do not iron, do not dry clean, and do not wring the parka when wet — wringing can permanently mat the HEATSEEKER™ fill.
Hang to dry fully between uses when possible. If the parka gets soaked in wet weather, lay it flat to dry or tumble on low until completely dry to prevent mildew.
Brush the high-pile fleece hood lining gently with a soft-bristle brush after drying to restore the fluffy texture and prevent matting.
Re-treat the non-PFC DWR finish periodically (or as needed) with a non-PFC spray-on water repellent (like Nikwax TX Direct or Granger's Performance Repel) to refresh the water-shedding performance.
Store the parka on a hanger in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area when not in use — long-term compression in a stuff sack can reduce the HEATSEEKER™ loft and overall warmth over time.
