A waterproof GORE-TEX® shell, 100% recycled water-repellent lining and warm Heatseeker™ Pro insulation makes the Women’s Dawnstrike GORE-TEX® Insulated Jacket a formidable layer for all-day epics at the resort and beyond. This jacket also features underarm venting, a helmet-compatible hood and a stretch powder skirt.

Cleaning
Machine wash cold (30 °C) on a gentle cycle with a mild, technical detergent. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or stain remover — these clog the GORE-TEX membrane pores, strip the non-PFC DWR finish, and reduce Heatseeker™ Pro loft.
Drying
Tumble dry on low heat for 20–30 minutes or line dry. Low tumble heat reactivates the DWR finish on the GORE-TEX shell and the recycled nylon lining; high heat can damage the GORE-TEX membrane and the Heatseeker™ Pro insulation.
Re-Proofing
The non-PFC DWR finish can be reactivated by tumble drying on low heat. When water no longer beads on the shell or lining, apply a PFC-free DWR spray treatment and tumble dry low to bond.
Powder Skirt
The stretch powder skirt with silicone gripper tape keeps snow out — wipe the silicone with a damp cloth and dry before storing. Check the jacket-to-pant integration clip before each tour day.
Wrist Gaiters & Cuffs
The integrated stretch-knit wrist gaiters with thumbholes stretch with use and don't need re-sizing. The hook-and-loop cuff tabs should release cleanly each season — if they lose grip, replace before the next season.
Zipper Care
The exposed #5 YKK® AquaGuard® chest pocket zip and the secure-zip hand, wrist, and internal chest pocket zips need to be kept free of grit and salt. Brush gently with a soft toothbrush and rinse as needed. Lubricate sparingly with a silicone-based zipper lubricant if the pull becomes stiff.
Hood
Confirm the riveted cord-lock on the helmet-compatible hood releases smoothly before each season. Adjust the partial-drop fit when switching between helmet and bare headwear.
Goggle Wipe
The wrist pocket includes a soft goggle wipe — use it only on the lens. Wash the wipe occasionally with mild soap, rinse fully, and air dry to avoid scratching the lens.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Hang on a wide hanger or fold loosely. Do not compress the GORE-TEX 2L laminate or the Heatseeker™ Pro insulation for extended periods — folds can weaken the membrane and reduce loft over time.
