Women’s Cirque Down Jacket
Women’s Cirque Down Jacket
Apparel · Outerwear / Insulated Ski & Snowboard

The Women’s Cirque Down Jacket delivers ample storage and waterproof DRYVENT™ fabric designed for all your snowsports adventures. With a combination of 550-fill goose down and synthetic HEATSEEKER™ Advanced insulation, this warm and protective jacket has all the features you need for a full day on the mountain.

Hybrid Down + Synthetic Insulation
550-fill RDS-certified goose down in the main body, hood, and sleeves for the best warmth-to-weight; HEATSEEKER™ Eco Advanced synthetic in the front/back yoke, lower hood (200 g), and underarm panels (120 g) where moisture and compression would compromise down
DryVent™ 2L Waterproof Shell
75D DryVent™ 2L — 94% recycled polyester, 6% elastane twill with non-PFC DWR — water-resistant, windproof, breathable face fabric
Helmet-Compatible Adjustable Hood
Attached, fully adjustable hood with snap closure, riveted cord-lock adjustment system, quilted interior, and high-shine lining — fits over a ski or snowboard helmet
Integrated Wrist Gaiters with Thumbholes
Stretch-knit wrist gaiters with thumbholes seal out cold air and snow at the wrists, eliminating the gap between jacket and glove — keeps snow out on deep days and warmth in on cold lifts
Stretch Powder Skirt with Pant-Clip Integration
Stretch powder skirt with silicone gripper tape + a jacket-to-pant integration clip — clips to compatible TNF pants to create a one-piece seal against snow entry on deep days
Underarm Venting
Pit-zip underarm vents release heat quickly on the boot-pack, skin tracks, and warm spring riding
Secure-Zip Wrist Pocket with Goggle Wipe
Wrist pocket with a built-in goggle wipe — quick lens cleaning on the lift line without removing gloves or digging through the main compartment
PU-Coated Zippers Throughout
Exposed, polyurethane-coated, reverse-coil zippers (#5 CF, #3 hand pockets) with an oversize ribbon pull on the center front — PU coating adds water resistance and the ribbon pull is easy to grab with gloves on
Snap Tab Collar Closure
Snap tab closure at the collar secures the front of the zip placket when fully zipped — adds a second layer of weather seal and prevents the zip from flapping in the wind
Brushed-Tricot Inner Collar
Soft brushed-tricot lines the inner collar and chin guard for next-to-skin comfort when zipped all the way up
Clean-Finished Cuffs
Clean-finished cuffs with partial elastic — seal over or under gloves without bulk; the integrated wrist gaiter sits inside the cuff for a double seal at the wrist
Internal Mesh Drop-In Pockets
Two large internal mesh drop-in pockets — sized for goggles, spare gloves, or a hydration bladder; mesh lets moisture evaporate
Internal Media Pocket with Port
Secure internal media pocket with a headphone cable port for phone/headphone use on the lift or boot-pack
Internal Hem Cinch-Cord
Internal hem cinch-cord with two-point adjustment; cinch-cord ends exit into the hand pockets for on-the-fly tightening under a pack belt or harness
Ticket-Attachment Loop
Small loop on the front-right hem for clipping a lift ticket or pass
Overlay-Tape Detailing
Overlay-tape detailing on the lower yoke seam adds a clean, finished look and reinforces a high-stress seam
Glossy Logo on Draft Flap
Glossy logo application on the interior of the draft flap — a small detail that signals quality and finished construction
Stretch Construction
6% elastane in the body fabric and 9% elastane in the underarm/side-panel lining deliver four-way stretch for unrestricted movement on the mountain
Slim Fit
Athletic, close-to-body cut — layers cleanly over a baselayer and under a shell, but trim enough for park/all-mountain riding
Recycled Materials + RDS Down
Body 94% recycled polyester, body lining 100% recycled, HEATSEEKER™ Eco 80% post-consumer recycled; down is RDS-certified (Responsible Down Standard)

Recycled Content

Down
550 fill goose down — RDS-certified (Responsible Down Standard) by Control Union, CU 843098
PFC Status
Non-PFC DWR finish (body + body lining + side-panel lining)
Washing
Close all zippers and fasten the powder-skirt snap before washing. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors in a front-loading washer (top-loader agitators can damage the down baffles and HEATSEEKER™ fill). Use a technical cleaner designed for technical down — Nikwax Down Wash or Granger’s Down Wash are the right products. They preserve the natural oils in the 550-fill goose down, prevent clumping of the HEATSEEKER™ Eco Advanced fill, maintain the DryVent™ 2L membrane performance, and preserve the non-PFC DWR finish on the body, body lining, and side-panel lining. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and dryer sheets. Do not dry clean (solvents destroy the DWR, the 6% elastane stretch, and the RDS-certified down).
Drying
Tumble dry on low with 2–3 clean tennis balls or dryer balls. The balls are critical for breaking up clumps in both the 550-fill down and the HEATSEEKER™ Eco Advanced fill and restoring loft. Drying can take 2–3 full cycles for a heavily-soaked jacket; the jacket is fully dry when no clumps remain and the fill is evenly distributed. High heat damages the recycled polyester face, the 6% elastane stretch, the PU-coated zippers, and the integrated wrist gaiters — keep the dial low.
DWR Re-Proofing
When water stops beading on the 75D DryVent™ 2L twill, the body lining, or the underarm/side-panel lining, re-treat with a spray-on DWR such as Nikwax TX Direct or Granger’s Performance Repel. Apply to the clean, damp jacket, paying extra attention to the shoulders (where pack straps wear the DWR fastest), the powder-skirt hem, and the cuff area. A short low-heat tumble helps set the finish.
Down Care Specifics
RDS-certified goose down requires specific care to maintain loft and warmth. Don’t compress the jacket in a stuff sack for long periods. If the down has clumped after years of use (especially at the shoulders, hood, and sleeve tops), a long low-heat tumble cycle with tennis balls is the right reset. Avoid excessive heat — goose down can scorch above ~140°F and lose its loft permanently. If a feather pierces the face fabric, work it back into the baffle from the inside rather than pulling it out (pulling damages the baffle and creates a permanent leak path).
Wrist Gaiters & Powder Skirt
The integrated stretch-knit wrist gaiters are the wear-and-tear zone of the jacket — they take constant glove abrasion. If a thumbhole seam starts to fail, a quick reinforcement stitch with polyester thread is a 5-minute fix that prevents a much bigger repair. The powder-skirt gripper elastic and jacket-to-pant integration clip should be checked each season; the snap and clip can be replaced with compatible TNF hardware if they pull.
Zippers & Hardware
The PU-coated zippers (#5 CF, #3 hand pockets, wrist pocket, internal chest pocket) are the most failure-prone parts of any technical shell. Keep the coils clean (a soft brush works), lubricate sparingly with a silicone-based zipper lubricant (Nikwax, GE Silicone II, or beeswax) if they start sticking, and never force a stuck zipper — back it off and clear debris to avoid breaking the slider. The PU coating can wear over time; if zippers start leaking in heavy rain, re-treat with a zipper-waterproofing spray. The riveted cord-lock adjustment on the helmet hood is durable but should be cleared of ice/snow buildup before cinching.
Helmet Hood Adjustment
The helmet-compatible hood has two adjustment systems: a snap closure at the front and a riveted cord-lock at the back. Both are designed to work over a helmet without restricting vision. Test the fit with your helmet before heading out — adjust the cinch-cord and snap so the hood sits comfortably without compressing the helmet padding or blocking peripheral vision.
Storage (Off-Season)
Store clean, dry, and uncompressed in a cool, dark, dry place — ideally in a large cotton or mesh storage sack, or just hanging loosely in a closet. Never store a down jacket in a compression stuff sack for long periods — extended compression permanently damages both the 550-fill goose down and the HEATSEEKER™ Eco Advanced fill. Keep out of direct sunlight (UV degrades the DryVent™ 2L membrane, the non-PFC DWR, and fades the recycled polyester face fabric over time).
Untaped-Seam Awareness
The Cirque uses a waterproof DryVent™ 2L fabric but the seams are not taped — meaning the fabric itself is waterproof, but water can enter through the stitch lines under sustained heavy rain or wet snow. The jacket is designed for cold-weather snow conditions (where snow is mostly dry, and the DWR + fabric do most of the work). For full-storm protection or wet-rail conditions, layer a fully seam-sealed shell over the Cirque, or accept that the jacket is “highly water-resistant” rather than fully waterproof.
