Teens' Zipline Rain Jacket
Teens' Zipline Rain Jacket
Rain Jacket · Teens · DryVent™ · Recycled Polyester · Lightweight

Dug into the archives to bring back the return of the Zipline Rain Jacket, which delivers reliable wind and rain protection for even the most active and adventurous young explorers. Made from lightweight DryVent™ technology, it's waterproof, windproof, and breathable, ensuring 'just-right' comfort while hiking, biking, camping, or just going to and from school. The Zipline features a fixed hood, elasticated cuffs, and a zip garage to stop the zip from slipping down in wet and windy weather.

DryVent™ Waterproof + Windproof
Lightweight DryVent™ technology provides an impenetrable barrier to rain and snow while blocking wind from penetrating the fabric — keeps active teens dry and protected from wind chill during storms, on the bike, and on the trail.
Breathable Construction
Fabric technology allows air to pass through to regulate body temperature and keep the wearer cooler for longer — prevents the clammy, overheated feeling of non-breathable rain shells during high-output activity like hiking and biking.
Lightweight 117 g/m² Body
Lightweight 117 g/m² body fabric doesn't weigh kids down on long hikes, bike rides, or school walks — comfortable for all-day wear and packable for stashing in a backpack when not needed.
Non-PFC DWR Finish
Non-PFC durable water-repellent finish causes water to bead up and roll off the surface for extra wet-weather protection — without the use of harmful perfluorinated chemicals.
Fully Recycled Polyester
Body and lining both made with 100% recycled polyester — sustainable construction with a lower environmental footprint than virgin poly, without sacrificing weather protection or durability.
Fixed Hood
Attached hood provides head coverage in wind and rain — keeps the storm off the face and neck without needing a separate accessory or remember-to-pack-it item.
Elasticated Cuffs
Elastic cuffs seal out wind and rain at the wrists — prevents water from running down the arms into the jacket on wet bike rides, hikes, and playground sessions.
Zip Garage at Chin
Zip garage at the chin prevents the metal zipper pull from slipping down in wet and windy weather and stops the zipper from irritating skin against the chin — a small detail that makes a real difference during all-day wear.
Archive Heritage Design
Return from the archives as a proven heritage piece — a design that was popular in TNF's history, brought back to outfit a new generation of young explorers.

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Close all zippers fully before washing to protect the slider. Use a mild technical detergent — avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and harsh stain removers, which can degrade the DryVent™ membrane, the non-PFC DWR treatment, and the recycled polyester fibers over time.
Drying
Tumble dry low heat to help reactivate the non-PFC DWR finish — the low heat redistributes the DWR treatment across the fabric surface for renewed water beading. Hang dry works too, but a short tumble dry on low gives the best DWR reactivation.
Waterproofing Refresh
When water stops beading on the surface and instead soaks into the outer fabric, apply a DWR refresh treatment specifically formulated for DryVent™ (Nikwax Tech Wash + TX.Direct or similar PFC-free re-proofer). Re-proofing maintains the water-repellent performance and extends the life of the jacket.
Avoid
Don't iron, bleach, or dry clean. Iron heat can damage the DryVent™ membrane, the DWR finish, and the lightweight recycled polyester. Dry cleaning chemicals break down the membrane and the DWR treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Hang on a wide hanger to maintain the shoulder shape, or fold loosely. Don't store wet — moisture can lead to mildew and degrade the DryVent™ membrane over time.
