Washing
Close all zippers and fasten the hook-and-loop pocket flaps before washing. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle in a front-loading washer (top-loaders with agitators can damage the down baffles and HEATSEEKER™ fill). Use a technical down-specific wash such as Nikwax Down Wash or Granger’s Down Wash — regular household detergent leaves residue that strips the natural oils from the recycled waterfowl down, mats the HEATSEEKER™ fill in the hood/collar/pockets, and degrades the non-PFC DWR finish on the WINDWALL™ body and linings. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and dryer sheets. Do not dry clean.
Drying
Tumble dry on low with 2–3 clean tennis balls or dryer balls — the balls break up clumps in both the 600-fill down (body) and the 250 g HEATSEEKER™ (hood/collar/pockets) and restore loft. Drying can take 2–3 full cycles for a heavily-soaked parka; the parka is fully dry when no clumps remain and the fill is evenly distributed. High heat damages the recycled polyester, the down, and the heat-transfer logos on the chest and shoulder — keep the dial low.
DWR Re-Proofing
When water stops beading on the 50D WINDWALL™ body or the 73 g/m² sleeve/lower-body lining, re-treat with a spray-on DWR such as Nikwax TX Direct or Granger’s Performance Repel. Apply to the clean, damp parka, paying extra attention to the shoulders, hood, and the lower hem where snow sits longest. A short low-heat tumble helps set the finish.
Stains & Heavy Soiling (Kids Reality)
Kids’ parkas get dirty — grass, food, mud, marker. Spot-clean small stains promptly with a damp cloth and mild soap. For heavier soiling (think hot-chocolate spills or playground mud), pre-treat the stain with a small amount of Nikwax Down Wash directly on the spot, then wash the whole parka on a gentle cold cycle. Don’t spot-treat with bleach, oxygen cleaners, or enzyme cleaners — they break down the recycled down and HEATSEEKER™ fill.
Hook-and-Loop & Zippers
The pocket flaps use hook-and-loop closures — brush the loops clean periodically (a toothbrush works) so debris doesn’t reduce the grip. The VISLON® center-front zip and the pocket side-entry zips are durable; treat them like any other zip (silicone lubricant if sticking, soft brush to clear debris, never force).
ID Label
Use the inside ID label with the child’s name — it’s there for a reason. At school, ski school, or daycare, identical parkas get mixed up. A fabric-safe laundry marker on the ID label lasts for years.
Storage (Off-Season)
Store clean, dry, and uncompressed in a cool, dark, dry place — ideally in a large cotton or mesh storage sack, or just hanging loosely in a closet. Never store a down parka in its compression stuff sack (this parka doesn’t have one, but if it did) or stuffed in a gear bag for long periods — extended compression permanently damages both the 600-fill recycled down and the HEATSEEKER™ fill. Keep out of direct sunlight (UV degrades the WINDWALL™ face, the non-PFC DWR, and fades the heat-transfer logos).

Complete bikes typically ship within 2–3 weeks due to build, tuning, and inspection times. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is ready to ship.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
