Men's THERMOBALL™ Traction Booties
Men's THERMOBALL™ Traction Booties
Footwear · Casual / Lounge

Post-expedition comfort should never be an afterthought. That's why we created the THERMOBALL™ Traction Booties. These versatile shoes were born at base camp but adapted for everyday life. Lightweight and packable for easy transportation. Insulated and fleece-lined for unrivaled comfort and warmth. These are the all-in-one solution for running errands, après relaxation, or kicking back at camp — the slip-on you forget you have on until you remember how cold the floor was before you put them on.

Recycled P.E.T. Ripstop Upper
Upper is made with 100% recycled P.E.T. ripstop — turns plastic bottles into a tough, lightweight shell that resists scuffs and abrasion from base camp rocks, garage floors, and the inside of a pack. The ripstop weave holds up to repeated flexing without tearing.
Non-PFC DWR Finish
Non-PFC durable water-repellent finish causes light snow, trail spray, and slushy puddles to bead up and roll off the upper — keeps the booties from getting soaked through on the quick walk from the tent to the car in a surprise storm.
THERMOBALL™ Eco Insulation
THERMOBALL™ 100% recycled polyester insulation helps keep feet warm even when wet — the loose-fill clusters trap heat like down but still perform when damp, which is most of the time around snow, slush, and wet tent floors.
Fleece-Lined Interior
Soft fleece lining wraps the foot in next-to-skin warmth — adds a layer of comfort over the THERMOBALL™ insulation and gives the booties that broken-in, slipper feel from the first wear. Wicks a little moisture and dries fast.
Slip-On Construction
Easy on/off slip-on design for quick on/off at camp or around the house — no laces, no velcro, no buckles. Pull them on to grab the morning coffee, kick them off when you sit down, repeat.
Lightweight & Packable
Lightweight construction that packs down easily for travel and storage — flat enough to slip into a duffel, a pack, or a drawer without taking up valuable real estate. The go-to emergency warmth for a cold flight, a drafty cabin, or an unheated tent.
Recycled Rubber Outsole
Outsole made with up to 20% recycled rubber — delivers grip on hardwood, tile, and camp gravel without the bulk of a full outdoor sole. The traction pattern sheds mud and won't track it onto the living room carpet.
Synthetic Fill
Synthetic insulation maintains warmth even in damp conditions — unlike down, the THERMOBALL™ fill keeps insulating when the booties get wet from snow, slush, or a spilled drink.

Hand Wash
Remove loose dirt with a soft brush or cloth. Hand wash with mild soap and cool water. Do not machine wash — the THERMOBALL™ insulation clumps and loses loft under agitation, and the fleece lining can pill heavily in a machine cycle.
Air Dry
Air dry at room temperature away from direct heat or sunlight. Stuff with paper towel or a clean cloth to hold the shape and absorb moisture from the inside. Allow 24 hours to fully dry before wearing or storing — damp insulation clumps and loses warmth.
Spot Treat
For everyday dirt, scrub lightly with a soft brush (an old toothbrush works), a drop of mild soap, and cool water. Rinse thoroughly with a clean damp cloth to remove soap residue, then air dry.
DWR Refresh
To restore water repellency over time, apply a non-PFC durable water-repellent treatment compatible with the upper material. Reactivating the finish every 6-12 months keeps the booties shedding light snow and slush like new.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the pair clipped or folded together so they don't get separated and lost in the gear drawer. Avoid compressing the insulation in long-term storage.
