Men’s Summit Series Tsirku GORE-TEX® Pro Bibs
Men’s Summit Series Tsirku GORE-TEX® Pro Bibs
Apparel · Outerwear / Snow Bib

Built for the steepest lines, the Men’s Summit Series Tsirku GORE-TEX® Bibs are the breathable, waterproof outer layer you’ll want to add to your winter kit. Made from 91% recycled GORE-TEX® Pro 3L body fabric with Spectra® ripstop for added durability, these performance-built snowsports bibs have an articulated fit, adjustable suspenders, high-denier kickpatches and convenient jacket-to-pant integration.

GORE-TEX® Pro 3L Waterproof Shell
GORE-TEX® Pro 3L — durably waterproof, windproof, and breathable engineered for the most demanding conditions. GORE-TEX’s top-tier membrane for serious mountaineering and backcountry use (vs. GORE-TEX Active for high-aerobic and GORE-TEX Infinium for windproof-only)
Spectra® Ripstop Reinforcement
Spectra® is an ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene fiber — one of the world’s strongest commercial fibers (used in body armor and sailing rope). Blended into the ripstop, it adds exceptional tear and abrasion resistance for the lifetime of the bibs
Jacket-to-Pant Integration
Jacket-to-pant integration point at back waist for compatibility with the Men’s Summit Tsirku GORE-TEX® Pro Jacket — creates a one-piece seal against snow entry on deep-powder days, no snow getting up the back
Non-PFC DWR Finish
Non-PFC durable water-repellent finish on all fabrics — water beads off the surface, the bibs don’t wet out, and the GORE-TEX Pro membrane doesn’t have to do all the waterproofing work
Full-Coverage Stretch Bib
Full-coverage, stretch-woven upper bib with a reverse-coil center front zip for easy on/off and internal access — keeps snow out of the chest and is easier than pulling a full bib on over your head
Self-Equalizing Suspender System
Suspender-adjustment system with a spring-loaded locking cam self-equalizes with a single pull — no fiddling with two separate buckle adjustments to get the bib level
Two-Way Side Zips with Drop-Seat
Two-way, #5 YKK® VISLON® AquaGuard® side zips provide drop-seat functionality and venting — open the top to vent on a boot-pack, open the bottom to use the bathroom without removing the bibs
Secure-Zip Chest Pockets
Two secure-zip chest pockets — one with an internal gear clip + mesh pouch (for beacon, small phone, or radio), one with a gear loop (for clipping gloves, keys, or a transceiver)
Angled Hand Pockets
Angled hand pockets with reverse-coil zips — sit at a natural hand position when the bibs are on, sized for hand warmers or a phone
Thigh Pockets with Gear Clip + Loop
Two thigh pockets with exposed, #5 YKK® AquaGuard® zips — one with an internal gear clip + mesh pouch, one with a gear loop — sized for skins, a small camera, snacks, or a map
Boot-Access Hem with Zipper + Snap
Hem features a zippered side seam and snap adjustment for boot access — wide enough to fit over ski/snowboard boots, snaps seal the hem closed during wear
Stretch Hem Gaiters
Stretch hem gaiters with gripper elastic lock the hem to the boot and seal out snow — no snow creeping up the leg on deep-powder days
Articulated Fit for Skiing & Riding
Articulated fit built for skiing and riding — pre-shaped knees + seat allow full range of motion for high-speed carving, deep-powder turns, and park tricks
Recycled Materials
Main body 91% recycled polyester, upper bib 91% recycled polyester, kickpatches 100% recycled nylon

Sustainability

Recycled Content
Main body 91% recycled polyester · Upper bib 91% recycled polyester · Kickpatches 100% recycled nylon
PFC Status
Non-PFC DWR finish (all fabrics)
Washing
Close all zippers (center front, side zips, all pocket zips) and fasten the hem snaps before washing. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors in a front-loading washer (top-loader agitators can damage the GORE-TEX® Pro 3L membrane and the Spectra® ripstop). Use a technical cleaner designed for GORE-TEX such as Nikwax Tech Wash or Granger’s Performance Wash — regular household detergent leaves residue that degrades the non-PFC DWR finish on the main body, upper bib, and DRYVENT™ 2L kickpatches, and can clog the GORE-TEX Pro membrane’s pores. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and dryer sheets. Do not dry clean (solvents destroy the DWR, the GORE-TEX membrane, and the 9% elastane in the upper bib).
Drying
Tumble dry on low to medium for 20–30 minutes after washing — the gentle heat reactivates the non-PFC DWR finish on the main body, upper bib, and kickpatches, restoring water beading. Higher heat reactivates DWR better but don’t overdo it — sustained high heat can damage the Spectra® ripstop, the 9% elastane in the upper bib, the PU coating on the YKK® AquaGuard® zippers, and the gripper elastic on the hem gaiters. Hang dry is also fine if you tumble briefly afterward to restore water beading.
DWR Re-Proofing
When water stops beading on the 75D × 75D 134 g/m² GORE-TEX Pro body, the 75D × 150D 242 g/m² upper bib, or the 420D × 500D 250 g/m² DRYVENT™ 2L kickpatches, re-treat with a spray-on DWR rated for GORE-TEX — Nikwax TX Direct or Granger’s Performance Repel are the right products. Apply to the clean, damp bib, paying extra attention to the shoulders, upper bib (most exposed to snow on chest-deep days), and the kickpatches (most abrasion from ski edges + crampon straps). A short low-heat tumble helps set the finish.
GORE-TEX® Pro Membrane Care
GORE-TEX Pro 3L is the most durable GORE-TEX tier — built for the most demanding conditions. Avoid folding or compressing the bibs tightly for long periods, which can crack the membrane. Store hanging or loosely folded. Don’t store wet, and don’t use harsh solvents, which destroy the membrane. With proper care, GORE-TEX Pro bibs last 5–10 years of regular backcountry use.
Spectra® Ripstop Care
Spectra® is one of the strongest commercial fibers in the world but isn’t indestructible. If a tear or hole appears (typical in extreme terrain), patch with a Spectra®-compatible adhesive patch (Tenacious Tape with Spectra® reinforcement works) or take to a professional repair service. Avoid grinding the bibs against sharp rock, ski edges, or crampon points — Spectra® is strong against tearing but not against abrasion over time.
Suspender + Drop-Seat Hardware
The spring-loaded locking cam on the suspenders is durable but mechanical — keep it clear of ice and snow buildup, which can jam the locking mechanism. If it stops self-equalizing, a quick rinse with warm water and a light silicone lubricant restores function. The two-way side zips provide drop-seat functionality; the #5 YKK® VISLON® AquaGuard® zippers take a lot of use — lubricate sparingly with a silicone-based zipper lubricant (Nikwax, GE Silicone II) if they start sticking, and never force a stuck zipper — back it off and clear debris.
Kickpatch Inspection
The 420D × 500D 250 g/m² DRYVENT™ 2L kickpatches are designed to take abuse from ski edges + crampon straps, but they’re the highest-wear zone on the bibs. Check the kickpatch stitching and seam-seal adhesion periodically — if the kickpatch seam starts to lift (a common wear point), re-seal with seam-seal adhesive before it becomes a leak path.
Jacket-to-Pant Integration
The jacket-to-pant integration point at the back waist creates a one-piece seal with the compatible Men’s Summit Tsirku GORE-TEX® Pro Jacket — when paired, the two pieces connect and prevent snow from entering up the back. This integration is built to be unobtrusive; you don’t need to disconnect it to use the drop-seat zips, but be aware that the two pieces move as one when fully integrated. If you don’t have the matching jacket, the integration point folds flat and is unnoticeable.
Storage (Off-Season)
Store clean, dry, and uncompressed in a cool, dark, dry place — hang on a wide hanger or fold loosely. Never store the bibs in a compression stuff sack for long periods (the Tsirku doesn’t have one, but if you do) — extended compression cracks the GORE-TEX Pro membrane and degrades the non-PFC DWR. Keep out of direct sunlight (UV degrades the GORE-TEX Pro membrane, the Spectra® ripstop, and fades the recycled polyester over time). Hang the suspenders over the hanger to keep the elastic spring-loaded cam from deforming.
