We believe that rainy days should be embraced, not just endured. With its waterproof, breathable DRYVENT™ fabric, the Men's Reign On 2.0 Jacket makes wet weather something to look forward to. It's designed with a comfortable, oversize fit that leaves room for layers underneath — built for commuting, weekend errands, and casual outings where you want reliable rain protection without the technical look of a hardshell. From spring showers to fall storms, this is the everyday rain jacket that pairs vintage-inspired styling with modern waterproof performance.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild technical wash — close any hook-and-loop closures and secure the snap placket before tossing it in.
Turn the jacket inside-out before washing to protect the DRYVENT™ 2L face fabric, the brushed-tricot pocket lining, the WINDWALL™ body lining, the embroidered logo on the back-right shoulder, and the DRYVENT™ logo on the left cuff.
Tumble dry on low heat for 20-30 minutes to reactivate the non-PFC DWR finish — heat is essential to keep water beading on the surface rather than saturating the DRYVENT™ 2L shell.
Do not bleach, do not use fabric softener, and do not use dryer sheets — all three can coat the DRYVENT™ 2L membrane and degrade the waterproof + breathable performance.
Do not iron, do not dry clean, and do not wring the jacket when wet — wringing can damage the DRYVENT™ membrane bond, the seam-sealing tape at stress points, and the brushed-tricot pocket lining.
Re-apply a non-PFC DWR spray-on treatment (like Nikwax TX Direct or Granger's Performance Repel) after several washes or whenever water stops beading on the surface — refreshes the water-shedding performance of the DRYVENT™ 2L shell.
Check the DRYVENT™ seam tape (especially at the shoulders, hood, and placket) periodically for lifting or peeling — small issues can be repaired with a seam-seal repair kit (like Gear Aid Seam Grip + WP5) before they become leaks.
Wipe the brushed-tricot pocket lining gently with a soft brush to remove surface lint and restore the soft texture — the brushed face can pill with heavy use.
Check the snap placket for secure attachment — a loose vintage logo snap can usually be re-set with a snap repair kit, and replacement snaps (matching the vintage logo style) are available through TNF customer service.
Check the hook-and-loop cuff tabs periodically for wear — the hook-and-loop is the most common point of failure on a casual rain jacket, and replacement hook-and-loop is widely available at outdoor and hardware stores.
Hang the jacket on a wide hanger to dry fully between uses. Store hanging in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area — avoid long-term compression in a stuff sack, which can damage the DRYVENT™ membrane and the seam tape.
