Men's GORE-TEX® Dawnstrike Pants
Men's GORE-TEX® Dawnstrike Pants
GORE-TEX® 2L Waterproof · 100% Recycled Body & Lining · 420D × 500D Kickpatches · Jacket-to-Pant Integration · Inner-Leg Vents · Articulated Knees · Hem Gaiters · 3 Inseam Lengths · Insulated

Built to shred, the Men's GORE-TEX® Dawnstrike Insulated Pants deliver durable, waterproof GORE-TEX® protection to keep you dry on the slopes, articulated knees for increased mobility, and oversized kickpatches that stand up to edge damage. The classic straight-leg silhouette is designed to fit over ski boots, with 100% recycled body fabric that delivers performance without compromise. Whether you're lapping the lift, hunting powder, or working the park, these pants are built to keep you warm, dry, and moving all season long.

Regular Fit, Straight-Leg Over Ski Boots
A regular fit with a straight-leg silhouette shaped to fit over ski boots — delivers a clean look on and off the mountain without bunching at the boot or restricting knee articulation.
GORE-TEX® 2L Waterproof Fabric
Durably waterproof GORE-TEX® 2L fabric delivers the industry-standard for serious wet-weather protection — the membrane blocks water and wind while letting body heat and moisture vapor escape, so you stay dry from both sides.
Non-PFC DWR Finish
A non-PFC DWR finish on the GORE-TEX® body and the hem gaiter causes snow, sleet, and slush to bead up and roll off — keeps the outer fabric from saturating during heavy snow and adds extra weather protection to the membrane system.
100% Recycled Body & Lining
Body fabric and lining are made with 100% recycled polyester — premium waterproof + breathable performance with a much lighter footprint on the planet than virgin materials.
High-Denier Kickpatches
420D × 500D 250 g/m² 100% recycled nylon kickpatches add serious abrasion resistance at the cuffs — protects the pants from ski edge damage, crampon contact, and boot-buckle wear on the most-stressed zone of any snow pant.
Jacket-to-Pant Integration
A jacket-to-pant integration port at the center back yoke connects to compatible TNF snow jackets — locks out snow and creates a one-piece system for deep powder days, no snow sneaking up between the layers.
Constructed Waistband
A constructed waistband with a zip-fly, metal snap, and hook-and-loop closure delivers a secure, custom fit — the metal snap is more durable than plastic for the high-stress waist closure on a heavily worn snow pant.
Adjustable Hook-and-Loop Waist Tabs
Adjustable hook-and-loop waist tabs let you dial in a snug fit over or under a baselayer — accommodates layering changes through the day and keeps the pants in place during high-speed descents.
Belt Loops
Belt loops accommodate a belt for a more traditional, dialed-in fit — pairs with a regular belt for resort use or a technical belt for backcountry touring.
Secure-Zip Welt Hand Pockets with Sueded Lining
Secure-zip, welt hand pockets with sueded lining warm cold hands between runs — the sueded interior adds a premium feel and extra warmth on chairlift rides and chairlift queues.
Secure-Zip Thigh Pockets with Bellows
Exposed, secure-zip thigh pockets with PU zips, bellowed bottoms for expanded storage, and a clip and pouch system in the right pocket — ample storage for a phone, snacks, and a trail map, with the right-pocket clip and pouch system for lift-pass or transit-pass.
Covered Inner-Leg Vents
Covered inner-leg vents provide venting while the power-mesh lining helps keep out snow — release heat on the bootpack up and during high-output touring without letting snow into the pant.
Articulated Knees
Articulated knees increase mobility for high-speed turns, moguls, and hiking the bootpack — eliminates fabric bunching behind the knee when you're in a deep stance.
Oversized Kickpatches
Oversize kickpatches protect the cuffs from ski edge damage and boot-buckle wear — extends the life of the pant at the most-stressed zone for any snow pant.
Hem Gaiters with Gripper Elastic
Hem gaiters with gripper elastic help keep snow out of the boots and seal the pant cuff over the ski boot — the gripper elastic locks the gaiter in place so it doesn't ride up during deep-powder descents.

What's Included
In Box
1 × Men's GORE-TEX® Dawnstrike Pants

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild technical wash (like Nikwax Tech Wash or Granger's Performance Cleaner) — close all zippers and secure any hook-and-loop closures before tossing them in.

Turn the pants inside-out before washing to protect the GORE-TEX® 2L face fabric, the kickpatches, and the sueded hand-pocket lining.

Tumble dry on low heat for 20-30 minutes to reactivate the non-PFC DWR finish — heat is essential to keep water beading on the surface rather than saturating the GORE-TEX® 2L shell.

Do not bleach, do not use fabric softener, and do not use dryer sheets — all three can coat the GORE-TEX® membrane and degrade the waterproof + breathable performance.

Do not iron, do not dry clean, and do not wring the pants when wet — wringing can damage the GORE-TEX® membrane bond, the seam-sealing tape at stress points, and the FLASHDRY-XD™ hem gaiter.

Re-apply a non-PFC DWR spray-on treatment (like Nikwax TX Direct or Granger's Performance Repel) after several washes to refresh the water-shedding performance of the GORE-TEX® 2L shell.

Check the GORE-TEX® seam tape (especially at the knees, crotch, and zip seams) periodically for lifting or peeling — small issues can be repaired with a seam-seal repair kit (like Gear Aid Seam Grip + WP5) before they become leaks.

Inspect the 420D × 500D kickpatches and the hem gaiter gripper elastic after heavy use — these are the most-stressed zones on a snow pant and benefit from early repair with a technical patch to extend the life of the pant.

Wipe the sueded hand-pocket lining gently with a soft brush to remove surface lint and restore the sueded texture.

Hang the pants on a wide hanger or pant hanger to dry fully between uses. Store hanging or loosely folded in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area — avoid long-term compression in a stuff sack, which can damage the GORE-TEX® membrane and the seam tape.

Avoid prolonged storage in damp or humid conditions — can lead to mildew and odor buildup in the body lining and hem gaiter.
