Thanks to innovative Polartec® High Loft™ fabric, the Alpedge Jacket is the ideal midlayer for start-and-go mountain activities. High Loft™ consists of hydrophobic yarns that repel moisture and dry incredibly fast. Extended polyester yarns create large air pockets to retain more thermal warmth while keeping this insulation lightweight. It packs an exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio, too, giving you greater freedom of movement when tackling technical terrain. Plus, the symmetrical design is not only soft, but also reduces surface friction for versatile layering — perfect when you need to wear a baselayer underneath and waterproof shell on top. This season's iteration harnesses breathable FUTUREFLEECE™ side panels, which feature a full-loop construction and octa-yarns to provide optimal warmth without excess bulk or weight.

Washing
Close all zippers before washing. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent. Do not bleach. Do not use fabric softener — it coats the Polartec® High Loft™ fibers and the FUTUREFLEECE™ side panel construction, reducing both loft and moisture-wicking performance.
Drying
Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Polartec® High Loft™ dries quickly on its own. Avoid high heat which can damage the loft, shrink the fabric, and degrade the FUTUREFLEECE™ side panel construction.
Loft Care
High-loft fleeces can flatten with aggressive compression. If the loft looks packed-down after a long trip, tumble dry LOW with 2-3 clean tennis balls to restore the air-pocket structure.
Layering
Designed to layer over a baselayer and under a shell. Avoid wearing directly against a heavily-abrasive outer layer (like a heavy backpack strap) for extended periods — friction can pill the high-loft face fabric over time.
Storage
Hang on a wide hanger or fold loosely. Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid long-term compression in a stuff sack or under heavy gear — breaks down the air pockets that provide insulation.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
