An attached hood, raglan sleeves, and a non-PFC DWR finish make it a ready-to-go layer for cold mornings on the playground and everything between.

Cleaning
Machine wash cold (30 °C) on a gentle cycle with a down-specific, mild detergent. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or stain remover — bleach damages down clusters and softener coats the recycled nylon shell and WINDWALL™ lining, reducing water repellency and breathability.
Drying
Tumble dry on low heat with 2–3 clean tennis balls or dryer balls for 45–60 minutes. The balls break up down clumps and restore 600-fill loft. Air dry fully if a dryer isn’t available — trapped moisture in down causes mildew and odor.
Down Care
The 600 fill recycled waterfowl down resists wetting better than untreated down. If the down gets damp, dry fully before storage. Periodic tumble dry with balls refreshes loft. Avoid compressing the down for extended periods.
Re-Proofing
The non-PFC DWR finish can be reactivated by tumble drying on low heat. When water no longer beads on the shell, apply a PFC-free DWR spray and tumble dry low to bond.
Zipper Care
Keep the #5 VISLON® center front zip and the secure-zip hand pocket zips free of grit and debris. Brush gently with a soft toothbrush and rinse as needed. Lubricate sparingly with a silicone-based zipper lubricant if the pull becomes stiff.
Encased-Elastic Cuffs
The encased-elastic cuffs stretch with movement and don’t require re-sizing. Avoid cutting or altering the elastic — it’s tuned to seal over a small wrist without binding.
ID Label
Use the inside ID label to mark the jacket with your child’s name — it’s the easiest way to identify it after recess, ski school, or camp.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Hang on a wide hanger or fold loosely. Do not compress the 600 fill down for extended periods — compression reduces loft and warmth over time.
