Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle in a front-loading washer. Use a mild detergent specifically formulated for technical fabrics — avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh chemicals, which can degrade the DWR finish and the synthetic insulation. Unzip all layers before washing so both pieces move freely and get fully cleaned.
Drying
Tumble dry low with a few clean tennis balls or dryer balls to redistribute and fluff the insulation after washing. Ensure both layers are completely dry before zipping together and storing — damp insulation clumps, loses loft, and can develop mildew or odor over time.
Water Repellency
The non-PFC DWR finish on the outer shell provides light dew and moisture resistance. If water no longer beads off the fabric after repeated washing, use a spray-on or wash-in DWR treatment specifically formulated for synthetic insulation — follow the product instructions and re-proof outdoors to preserve the finish.
Storage
Store uncompressed in a large breathable storage sack or loose in a dry closet — synthetic insulation degrades when packed tight for extended periods. Keep both layers unzipped and loosely stored. Avoid长期 compression in the included stuff sack between trips.
General Maintenance
Air out after each extended trip to prevent moisture and odor buildup. Spot clean minor stains with a damp cloth and mild soap before full washing. Periodically check that zippers operate smoothly and are free of debris — a dry cloth or soft brush works well for cleaning zipper teeth.
