Built for cold-weather play and serious winter storms. The Boys' McMurdo Parka pairs a waterproof, breathable DRYVENT™ 2L shell with 600-fill recycled down in the body and HEATSEEKER™ synthetic insulation in the hood for warmth that holds up in deep cold. A three-piece hood with elasticated rain-guard tunnel and removable faux-fur trim seals out wind and snow, while reverse-entry alpine pockets and an internal Napoleon pocket keep essentials secure on the sled hill or the playground.

DRYVENT™ 2L waterproof shell
Seam-sealed, waterproof, breathable 2-layer construction in 100% recycled nylon sheds snow and sleet while venting heat during active play.
Hybrid insulation system
600-fill recycled waterfowl down in the body for maximum loft and warmth; HEATSEEKER™ synthetic (70% post-consumer recycled polyester) in the hood where moisture resistance matters most.
WINDWALL™ lining
Wind-blocking lining retains warmth and helps the down loft do its job.
Three-piece storm hood
Attached hood with elasticated rain-guard tunnel hugs the face for a snug, draft-free fit. Removable faux-fur trim adds warmth and breaks wind around the cheeks.
Heavy-duty center front zip
Open-end VISLON® zip with auto-lock slider and hook-and-loop closure stormflap seals out wind and snow when fully zipped.
Multiple secure pockets
Two reverse-entry alpine pockets with secure zips, two patch hand pockets with hook-and-loop flap closure, and an internal Napoleon chest pocket for phone, snacks, or mittens.
Adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs
Seal out snow and cold by cinching cuffs over or under gloves.
ID label
Interior name label helps lost parkas find their way home.
Recycled body and lining
Shell made with 100% recycled nylon and lining with 100% recycled polyester for a lower-impact winter layer.
Regular fit

Cleaning
Remove faux-fur trim before washing. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a down-specific or technical wash detergent. Close all zippers and hook-and-loop tabs before washing. Use a front-loading machine only.
Drying
Tumble dry low with two or three clean tennis balls or dryer balls for 2–3 full cycles to fully restore down loft AND reactivate the DRYVENT™ DWR finish. Reattach faux-fur trim only when completely dry.
Reproofing
When water no longer beads on the face fabric, apply a spray-on DWR treatment (such as Nikwax TX.Direct or Granger's Performance Repel) and re-tumble dry low to reactivate.
Storage
Store clean and dry, hanging or loosely folded. Avoid long-term compression — it reduces down loft and can damage the DRYVENT™ membrane seam tape.
What to avoid
Do not bleach, iron, dry clean, or use fabric softener. Harsh solvents and heat degrade the DRYVENT™ membrane, DWR finish, down loft, and faux-fur trim.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
