The right weight for fall-through-spring daily wear, indoor lounging, and casual outdoor use where a heavy sweater would overheat and a thin hoodie would look too athletic.
Triple-Blend Construction (Merino + Recycled Poly + Recycled Nylon)
Fabric helps combine the moisture management, temperature regulation, and odor resistance of Merino wool with the durability of recycled polyester and recycled nylon — 30% Merino Wool delivers the natural Merino performance; 55% Recycled Polyester provides the structural durability and quick-dry performance; 15% Recycled Nylon adds the abrasion resistance and shape recovery. The triple blend balances Merino's natural performance with the lower-impact material sourcing and the everyday durability a casual sweater needs.
30% Merino Wool — Moderate Merino Content
30% Merino Wool content delivers the natural moisture management, temperature regulation, and odor resistance that defines Merino performance — the wool manages the body's temperature swings across indoor-outdoor wear, resists odor across multi-day wear (the sweater can cover several wear days between washes), and provides the natural softness against the skin that pure synthetic knit can't match. The 30% Merino content is lower than the high-Merino Cozy socks (which run 62-77%) but appropriate for a lightweight sweater where Merino's role is performance rather than primary content.
Ribbed Collar, Hem & Cuffs

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Wash with like colors — the triple-blend construction (Merino + Recycled Polyester + Recycled Nylon) benefits from isolated washing to protect the fabric's moisture-management properties and the ribbed collar/hem/cuffs' shape recovery. Cold water protects the Merino fibers from shrinking and the recycled wool-blend construction's structural integrity. Use a mild, technical wash; avoid fabric softeners (they coat the Merino fibers and reduce natural moisture management, and they can degrade the recycled nylon's shape recovery and the recycled polyester's quick-dry performance).
Drying
Dry flat. The lightweight heritage knit and the ribbed collar/hem/cuffs benefit from flat drying rather than tumble drying — flat drying preserves the sweater's silhouette and the ribbed cuffs' structured shape. Tumble heat can distort the ribbed collar, hem, and cuffs, flatten the lightweight knit's loft, and shrink the Merino fibers. Lay flat on a clean towel away from direct heat; reshape the ribbed edges gently after washing to maintain the heritage crew silhouette. (Note: this is different from the Smartloft™ and Active Fleece products in this family that explicitly allow tumble dry low — the heritage crew knit's lightweight construction and ribbed details benefit from the gentler flat-dry care.)
Bleach & Iron
Do not bleach. Cool iron as needed — do not iron decoration. Bleach breaks down Merino wool fibers and degrades the recycled polyester and recycled nylon components. Iron only on low heat and only on the non-decorated fabric areas; high heat can scorch the lightweight heritage knit and distort the ribbed collar/hem/cuffs.
Dry Cleaning
Do not dry clean. The harsh solvents used in commercial dry cleaning strip the natural lanolin from Merino and degrade the recycled polyester and recycled nylon content's structural integrity — both of which are core to the sweater's performance and shape retention.
Storage
Store folded in a dry, breathable space. Merino's natural odor resistance means the same sweater covers multiple wear days between washes, which extends the fabric's lifespan. Folded storage preserves the lightweight heritage knit's silhouette and the ribbed collar/hem/cuffs' structured shape; hanging for long periods can stretch the lightweight knit out at the shoulder and distort the ribbed cuffs.
