7.25" (18.5 cm) center-front zipper with faux leather puller — the longer-than-average 1/4-zip length lets the collar open up to the chest for serious ventilation on warmer days. The faux leather puller adds a smart styling detail that distinguishes the Sparwood 1/4 Zip from a standard technical 1/4 zip pullover.

Single knit jersey construction gives the Sparwood 1/4 Zip a lighter, drapier hand than a heavier gauge sweater. The single-knit jersey breathes more than a double-knit would, holds less heat under indoor lighting and sun, and layers cleanly over a tee without compressing.
Sparwood Fabric Blend
55% Recycled Polyester, 30% Merino Wool, 15% Recycled Nylon. The Merino handles next-to-skin performance — moisture management, temperature regulation, and natural odor resistance across multi-day wear. The recycled polyester and recycled nylon add structure and durability that lets a lightweight knit hold its shape through wash and wear without stretching or sagging.
Rib Knit Collar, Cuffs, And Hem
Rib knit at the collar, cuffs, and hem holds the sweater’s shape through wash and wear. The ribbed collar stands up cleanly around the 1/4 zip without collapsing; the ribbed cuffs seal in warmth at the wrist; the ribbed hem keeps the sweater from riding up under a jacket.
Contrast Stripe Detail At Interior Collar
A contrast stripe knit at the interior back collar shows when the collar is folded back or popped — a subtle detail that adds visual interest without changing the clean silhouette of the sweater. 27" Center-Back Length (Size M)
Size medium center-back length is 27 inches (68.5 cm) — slightly longer than the Sparwood Crew (26.75") for the 1/4 zip silhouette that adds a touch more coverage at the hip. The length hits at the hip on most men’s frames, wears cleanly untucked over a tee, and tucks into the waistband of trousers when the occasion calls for a cleaner dress-up option.
Regular Fit
Our regular fit is intended to help give you room to move without additional bulk. The Sparwood 1/4 Zip sits cleanly at the shoulder, leaves room through the body for layering a tee, henley, or button-down underneath, and falls to a 1/4-zip length that hits at the hip.

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors. Cold water protects the Merino fibers and prevents shrinkage of the knit; the gentle cycle keeps the rib knit collar, cuffs, and hem from stretching out of shape. Turn the sweater inside out before washing to reduce surface abrasion on the outer knit and protect the 7.25" center-front zipper teeth.
Drying
Lay flat to dry. Hanging a wet knit sweater stretches the shoulders and the ribbed hem out of shape; laying it flat on a clean towel preserves the fit through hundreds of wear cycles. Keep out of direct sunlight to protect color, the contrast stripe at the interior collar, and the faux leather puller finish.
Bleach
Do not bleach. Bleach damages Merino wool fibers, weakens the recycled-polyester backbone, and strips the color from the knit.
Ironing & Decoration
Cool iron as needed. Do not iron decoration. The lightweight knit recovers from light wrinkles with steam or a cool iron; direct high heat on the contrast stripe interior collar detail, the faux leather puller, or any printed graphics will scorch or distort the surface.
Dry Cleaning
Do not dry clean. The harsh solvents used in commercial dry cleaning strip the natural lanolin from Merino and degrade the recycled-polyester structure, leaving the sweater brittle and prone to pilling. The faux leather puller can also be damaged by dry cleaning solvents.
