The Ultra-Sil Nano Tarp Poncho is a raincoat, pack cover, groundsheet, and emergency tarp all rolled into one ultralight package. Built from 15D Ultra-Sil Nano fabric with double-stitched and tape-sealed seams, it weighs about 185 grams, packs into a fist-sized stuff sack, and converts from rainwear to a 2-person shelter with built-in guy attachment points. The cut accommodates a large backpack and pairs with Sea to Summit bug tents to create a complete ultralight shelter system — ideal for thru-hikers, temperate climates, and anyone who wants a single piece of gear that handles rainwear and emergency shelter duty at the same time.

Hand wash with mild soap and lukewarm water; rinse thoroughly and air dry completely before packing into the integrated stuff sack.

Do not machine wash or tumble dry — agitation and heat damage the taped seams and 15D fabric.

Re-treat the DWR periodically with a spray-on restorer to keep water beading off the fabric and reduce wetting-out in steady rain.

Avoid prolonged direct sunlight or UV exposure when storing; 15D nylon degrades faster in direct sunlight than heavier deniers.

Limit contact with sharp objects, abrasive surfaces, and velcro from other gear — these can puncture the thin 15D shell.

NOT for use in very windy conditions as a poncho or shelter — use a belt or Sea to Summit Accessory Strap to prevent flapping if wind picks up.
