Neck Pouch RFID
Neck Pouch RFID
Neck-Worn Travel Pouch · 20 g · 6 × 5 × 1 in

The Neck Pouch RFID is a neck-worn pouch for keeping passports, credit cards, and small valuables close. Worn under clothing while traveling, it has a comfortable webbing strap and a slim profile.

RFID-Blocking Lining (Copper-Nickel Film)
Lined with copper-nickel film that blocks RF signals — protects credit cards, passports, and other RFID-enabled items from digital skimmers. Skimmers are a real threat in crowded tourist areas, airports, and public transit, and the copper-nickel lining creates a Faraday-cage effect inside the pouch.
Adjustable Webbing Neck Strap
Adjustable and comfortable webbing neck strap — wear it tight against the skin under a shirt for security, or loose over clothing for quick access. The webbing is soft against the skin and stays in place without irritation on long travel days.
30D Ultra-Sil + Cordura Construction
Built with 30D Ultra-Sil body fabric reinforced with Cordura at high-wear points — the Ultra-Sil is light and packable, while the Cordura reinforcement at the strap attachment and zipper stress points adds years of use life. The combination is lighter than full Cordura but more durable than plain Ultra-Sil.
Slim Profile for Under-Clothing Wear
Slim profile fits under a shirt or jacket without printing — only 1.4 cm thick, the pouch is unobtrusive when worn against the body. Critical for travel in places where you don't want to advertise that you're carrying valuables.
Will Not Block Smartphone Signals
Will not block smartphone calls — cell phones receive and transmit a much stronger signal than a chip credit card, so the copper-nickel lining doesn't interfere with normal phone use. The pouch protects contactless cards and passports while leaving the phone fully functional.
Light-Dampness Protection (Not Waterproof)
Light-dampness protection, not full waterproof — the pouch will protect contents against damp, low-level moisture like perspiration while worn against the body, but not from significant or consistent external wetness (downpour, submersion, etc.). For rain, store the pouch in a waterproof bag.

Use

Best Use
Travel, International Tourism, Crowded Public Spaces, Pickpocket-Heavy Areas
Protects
Passports, credit cards (contactless/chip), other RFID-enabled items
Does NOT Block
Smartphone calls/texts/data (cell signals are much stronger than RFID chip signals)
Water Protection
Light-dampness only (sweat, light moisture) — NOT waterproof
Hand Wash with Mild Soap
Hand wash the pouch with warm water and mild soap (like Nikwax Tech Wash or diluted dish soap) — machine washing can damage the copper-nickel RFID lining and stretch the slim profile. Rinse thoroughly, gently squeeze out water, and air dry flat or hanging.
Don't Machine Wash or Dry
Skip the washing machine and dryer — the heat of a dryer can damage the copper-nickel film and the Cordura reinforcement, and the agitation of a machine can separate the RFID lining from the body fabric. Hand wash and air dry only.
Inspect Strap & Stitching
Before each trip, check the adjustable webbing strap and the stitching where the strap attaches to the pouch body — a strap failure mid-trip means a lost pouch with your passport and cards. The Cordura reinforcement at the strap attachment is the most common wear point; inspect it carefully.
Test RFID Blocking Periodically
To test that the RFID blocking is still working, put a contactless credit card inside the pouch and try to tap it on a payment terminal — the terminal should NOT read the card. If the card reads through the pouch, the copper-nickel lining has been damaged and the pouch should be replaced.
Replace If RFID Lining Fails
If the RFID lining develops pinholes, tears, or stops blocking signals (per the test above), the pouch is compromised and should be replaced — there's no field-repair for the copper-nickel film. Replacement is the only option.
Store Dry, Out of Direct Sun
Store the pouch in a dry place out of direct sunlight when not in use — UV can degrade the copper-nickel film over time, and trapped moisture in the pouch can damage the lining and the body fabric. A drawer or travel pouch is fine.
