Ikos Evo Tent
Ikos Evo Tent
3-Season Freestanding · TR2 / TR3 / TR4 · 2429–3886 g

Comfort meets durability. Redesigned for 2026, the Ikos Evo Tent offers improved weather protection while retaining award-winning airflow and versatile multi-mode pitching. Tension Ridge architecture creates more internal space and taller doors for effortless entry, while the weather-resistant Apex Vent at the peak boosts airflow and reduces condensation. Symmetrical architecture, intuitive hardware, and colour-coded poles simplify setup. Built tough with recycled 68D polyester and DAC MX poles for vehicle or self-supported trips, the Ikos Evo includes a gear loft and footprint for added protection and organisation. Multiple pitch modes — including hangout and stargazing configurations — let the tent adapt to changing conditions and trips with kids or dogs where a comfortable shelter is non-negotiable.

Tension Ridge Architecture
The Tension Ridge architecture lifts the tent's shape, increasing usable internal volume and providing taller doors for effortless entry — no more crawling, no more crouching to get in or out. More vertical walls at the head and foot make the tent feel bigger than the floor plan suggests.
Apex Vent + Improved Weatherproofing
High-capacity Apex Vent at the tent peak delivers effective ventilation for improved comfort inside, with water-resistant zippers and a closeable storm flap for reliable protection from harsh weather. Reduces condensation on cold nights while keeping rain out when zipped.
3 Sizes: TR2 / TR3 / TR4
Three sizes cover every group: TR2 for solo or couple + dog, TR3 for small family or couple + gear, TR4 for two adults + two kids or two adults + two dogs. All three sizes share the same architecture, materials, and feature set.
Multiple Pitch Modes
Adapts to changing conditions with multiple pitch modes — including hangout and stargazing configurations for versatile shelter options. The TR4 + trekking poles (or the Telos Hangout Poles accessory) forms a semi-enclosed shelter for open-air relaxing in good weather.
Durable 68D Polyester + DAC MX Poles
Built tough for any adventure — durable 68D polyester fabric and DAC MX 9.6mm green anodised aluminum poles deliver reliable durability for vehicle or self-supported trips. Heavier than the ultralight Telos, but the tradeoff is years of rough-trip abuse resistance.
Symmetrical Architecture + Color-Coded Poles
Symmetrical architecture, intuitive hardware, and colour-coded poles enable quick setup and takedown — no fumbling in the dark, no second-guessing which pole goes where. First-time pitch is straightforward, and night setup in a headlamp beam is feasible.
Adjustable Stake-Out Points
Easier pitching anywhere — adjustable stake-out points let you fine-tune inner tension, stake distance, and placement on rocky or uneven ground. Compensates for imperfect campsites without overstressing the fabric.
Spacious Rectangular Floor
Spacious rectangular floor plan fits Sea to Summit Large Rectangular sleeping mats perfectly for a comfortable night's sleep — no tapering or dead space, side-by-side sleeping for two without overlap. Pair with tapered mats for tighter fit or rectangular mats for family use.
Pole Bag Doubles as Lightbar
Tent pole bag doubles as a Lightbar — diffusing your headlamp to create an overhead lantern for ambient interior lighting. No need for a separate camp lantern in the tent; just drop the headlamp into the bag, hang it from the gear loft, and the whole tent glows softly.
Includes Gear Loft + Footprint
Included gear loft and footprint improve organisation and protection — gear loft keeps small items off the floor, footprint extends floor life on rough ground. No need to buy these separately.
Lower-Impact Materials
Lower impact materials — recycled, bluesign APPROVED, non-PFAS fabric and green anodised DAC MX poles deliver responsible, durable performance. No flame retardants used. Built to modern environmental standards for years of trips.

Dry Out Before Packing
Always dry the tent thoroughly before packing it away — shake off loose dirt, debris, and moisture, then either air-dry in the sun for 30+ minutes or wipe down with a dry cloth. Trapped moisture leads to mildew, fabric degradation, and funky smell on the next trip.
Hand Wash the Fly + Floor
Hand wash the fly and floor with warm water, mild soap (non-detergent), and a soft sponge — never machine wash, as the agitation can damage the PeU coating and seam tape. For stubborn dirt, use a soft-bristled brush.
Re-Seam with Seam Sealer as Needed
Over years of use, the factory seam tape can wear or peel — apply a tent-specific seam sealer (like Gear Aid SilNet or similar) to any leaking seams and let cure 24 hours before next use. Don't ignore the slow drip — it gets worse.
Inspect Poles & Ferrules
Before each trip, extend the DAC MX poles and check all ferrules (joints) for cracks or weak locking — a ferrule that pops open under wind load is a tent that collapses mid-storm. Inspect for bent sections after any high-wind trip.
Store Uncompressed Long-Term
For long-term storage between trips, store the tent loosely folded or in the included storage sack (NOT the compression stuff sack) — leaving fabrics compressed for months can weaken fibers and degrade DWR coatings.
Re-Proof DWR Every 1-2 Years
Re-proof the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating on the fly every 1-2 years with a spray-on or wash-in treatment (like Nikwax TX Direct or Granger's Performance Repel) — restores water beading on the fabric surface and extends the waterproof lifespan.
