Built for variability across climates and wet/dry conditions, the weight-efficient Women's Contour shape allows for natural sleeping positions — on your side, in a figure-four — cradling you in comfort all night long. In colder conditions, strategically placed layers of Revive Loft insulation keep you cosy; as temperatures warm, the Free-Flow full-length zipper with double sliders and short side zipper provide variability and customisable ventilation. Built from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester with bluesign-approved Revive Loft insulation, the Women's Hamelin is a 1% for the Planet product. More insulation than the unisex version, women's-specific temperature ratings, and a shorter fit make this the right pick for cold-sensitive sleepers who don't want a unisex cut.

Free-Flow Zipper System (Mirrored)
Full-length side zipper with double sliders extends through the footbox for customisable ventilation, opening the bag as a quilt, or venting feet on warm nights. Secondary short side zipper on the opposite side provides arms-free functionality — sit up, read, or reach for gear without exiting the bag. Note: zipper is right-side full + left-side half (mirrored from unisex for ergonomics).

Front-Loader Machine Washable
In a front-loader washing machine, yes — the Women's Hamelin can go through the wash. A top-loader with an agitator is NOT recommended, as the agitator can damage lightweight synthetic insulation and shell fabric. Use a gentle cycle with mild technical fabric wash.
Dry Thoroughly Before Storage
Tumble dry on low heat with a few clean tennis balls to restore loft and prevent clumping, or hang dry in a well-ventilated area. Synthetic insulation must be completely dry before long-term storage to prevent mildew and degradation.
Store Uncompressed Long-Term
For long-term storage between trips, keep the bag in the included compression sack LOOSELY (or store uncompressed in a large cotton/mesh storage sack) — leaving synthetic insulation compressed for months can cause it to lose loft permanently.
Spot Clean When Possible
For minor dirt and oils, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap rather than a full machine wash — fewer wash cycles extends the life of the DWR finish, insulation, and shell fabric. Save machine washes for end-of-season deep cleans.
Air Out After Each Trip
After each trip, turn the bag inside out and hang it in a dry, well-ventilated area for 24 hours before packing it away — removes moisture, body oils, and odors that can degrade fabric and insulation over time.
Repair Snags Immediately
Small snags in the shell or lining should be repaired with a dab of seam sealant or fabric glue before they grow — a snag in a sleeping bag can let insulation escape, creating cold spots in the field. Field-repairable with a small repair kit.
