Frontier Ultralight Two Pot Set
Frontier Ultralight Two Pot Set
Modular Two-Pot System · 1.3L + 3L · 571 g

The Frontier Ultralight Two Pot Set pairs a compact 1.3L pot with a generously-sized 3L pot, both made of high-quality hard-anodized aluminum alloy for durability and efficient heat transfer. Ceramic non-stick coating on the cooking surface, clever strainer holes in both pot lids, and a LidKeep that clips the lid to the side of the pot to free up a hand for stirring or seasoning. Two Click Safe handles provide a solid grip and can be reversed to hold the lid and any nesting contents in place during transport. The Two Pot Set is the modular foundation of the Frontier UL cook system — the 3L pot accepts the 8" Frontier Pan (sold separately) for frying, and both pots nest with Sea to Summit Passage bowls, cups, and cutlery (sold separately) for complete cook-eat-drink systems. The 1.3L handles solo portions and quick boils; the 3L takes care of group meals and pan-frying. Built for backpacking, cycle touring, and paddle touring where you need cooking versatility without hauling a full kitchen.

Two Pots (1.3L + 3L) for Versatility
A compact 1.3L pot and a generously-sized 3L pot cover the full range of backcountry cooking — the 1.3L handles solo portions, coffee, and quick rehydrated meals, the 3L handles group cooking, full dinner rehydration, and pan-frying when paired with the 8" Frontier Pan. Two vessels, no compromises.
Hard-Anodized Aluminum with Ceramic Non-Stick
Both pots are made of high-quality hard-anodized aluminum alloy for durability and efficient heat transfer — lower fuel burn on long trips, even heating, and faster boil times. Ceramic non-stick coating on the cooking surface for easy food release and fast cleanup.
Strainer Holes in Both Lids
Clever strainer holes in both pot lids let you drain pasta water or rinse food without a separate colander — drain from either pot, fewer tools to pack, faster meal prep on the trail.
LidKeep Lid Management
Both lids feature a LidKeep silicone clip that lets you clip the lid to the side of the pot while cooking — keeps the lid clean, off the ground, and out of the dirt, and prevents the classic lost-lid-in-the-bush problem on both pots simultaneously.
Removable Click Safe Handles (×2)
Two Removable Click Safe Handles allow secure handling when the pots are hot, and can be reversed to hold the lid and any nesting contents in place for transport. Both handles are interchangeable across the entire Frontier pot and pan line — use one handle to swap between pots or onto the 8" Frontier Pan.
3L Pot Accepts 8" Frontier Pan
The 3L pot nests with the 8" Frontier Pan (sold separately) for a complete cook-fry system — drop the pan in the 3L pot, add the lid, and you have a full camp kitchen in one bundle. The 1.3L pot doesn't accept the 8" pan (too small) but is perfect for solo cooking on the side.
Modular Foundation for the Frontier System
Both pots nest with Sea to Summit Passage bowls, cups, and cutlery (sold separately) — the modular backbone of the entire Frontier UL cook system. Add a 2-bowl 2-cup bundle for solo, or 4-bowl 4-cutlery bundle for group. Build out from this foundation.
BPA-Free, Non-PFAS, PFOA-Free
All components are BPA-free, Non-PFAS, and the ceramic non-stick coating is PFOA-free — no forever chemicals in contact with boiling water, hot food, or morning coffee. Built to modern food-safety standards for years of trail use.

Hand Wash Both Pots & Lids
The pots and lids are NOT dishwasher safe — the caustic cleanser used in dishwashers will damage the anodization. Hand wash both vessels with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh scouring pads on the ceramic non-stick coating.
Preserve the Ceramic Coating
Use wooden, silicone, or plastic utensils on the ceramic non-stick surface of both pots to extend coating life. Avoid metal utensils, sharp edges, and stacking the 1.3L pot directly on the 3L pot's coating without protection — common causes of premature non-stick failure.
Remove Handles for Cleaning
Detach both Click Safe handles before washing the pots — the handle mechanism is not designed to be submerged long-term, and removing them lets you clean both pieces thoroughly without trapping moisture around the handle pivots.
Dry Thoroughly Before Storing
Rinse and dry both pots and lids thoroughly before nesting them back together — trapped moisture between the nested pots can lead to corrosion, odor, and degradation of the ceramic non-stick coating over time.
Stove Use Only — No Open Flame
Both pots are designed for use with backpacking stoves. Do not expose to open flame or place directly on coals — keep flame centered on each pot base and below the rim line. Strainer lid holes are for draining, not direct flame exposure.
Re-Season if Non-Stick Fades
If the ceramic non-stick performance fades over years of heavy use, a light re-seasoning with a thin coat of cooking oil wiped across the warm surface can help restore release properties. Replace the pot if the coating chips or flakes — that's end-of-life for any non-stick cookware.
