bluesign® approved Pertex® Shield Pro 2.5L with 52% recycled nylon and mechanical stretch delivers premium waterproofing and breathability in a lightweight alpine shell.

Fully Seam Taped

Every seam is sealed for true storm-grade waterproof performance in sustained rain, wet snow, and demanding mountain conditions.

Helmet-Compatible Hood with Brim Wire

Fully adjustable hood fits over climbing and ski helmets with a built-in wire brim that holds shape against wind and driving rain — peripheral vision stays clear during technical movement.

Large Pit Zips for Active Venting

Oversized underarm pit zips dump heat fast on hard-charging alpine ascents and ski tours — essential for high-output cold-weather activity.

YKK® Vislon Aquaguard® 2-Way Zipper

Waterproof Aquaguard® center front zipper with two-way design lets you vent from the hem while seated in a harness or on a belay.

High Hand Pockets

YKK® Aquaguard® zippered high hand pockets sit above a harness or hipbelt for accessible storage without interference.

Internal Zip Chest Pocket

Machine Wash Cold

Close all Aquaguard® zippers and wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and a technical waterproof-shell cleaner. Avoid standard detergent and fabric softener — both damage the DWR and Pertex® Shield Pro membrane.

Tumble Dry Low to Reactivate DWR

Tumble dry on low heat for 20–30 minutes to reactivate the DWR finish and restore water beading on the face fabric.

Do Not Bleach or Fabric Softener

Avoid chlorine bleach and liquid fabric softener — both strip the DWR finish and clog the Pertex® Shield Pro membrane.

Do Not Iron or Dry Clean

Skip the iron; heat can damage the 2.5L laminate. Dry cleaning solvents destroy the membrane and DWR treatment.

Refresh DWR Periodically

When the face fabric stops beading water, re-treat with a spray-on or wash-in DWR product (like Nikwax TX Direct) to restore surface water repellency for the long haul.

Outdoor Gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 5-21 business days. Please reach out to us with the most up to date deliveries times as they vary per Manufacturer.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
