Spot Clean When Possible
Wipe down the leather palm and stretch shell with a damp cloth and mild soap to handle everyday dirt and alpine grime without putting the wool-blend lining through unnecessary wash cycles.
Hand Wash Gently
Hand wash in cool water with a leather cleaner or mild detergent if needed. Avoid machine washing, which can damage the leather, Kevlar stitching, and lining.
Air Dry at Room Temperature
Reshape and air dry at room temperature away from direct heat. Do not tumble dry — heat damages the leather and wool-blend lining.
Treat Leather Periodically
Apply a leather conditioner to the goat leather palm and fingertips as needed to keep the leather supple and water-resistant over time.
Do Not Bleach
Bleach will damage the leather, wool-blend lining, and stretch shell.
Do Not Iron
Direct heat from an iron will damage the leather, Kevlar stitching, and synthetic fibers.
Do Not Dry Clean
Dry cleaning solvents will strip the natural oils from the leather and damage the wool-blend lining.
