The Team GORE-TEX® Mitt features GORE-TEX® ePE and VerticalX™ ECO technology, bluesign® approved materials, touchscreen compatibility, and a feature-loaded design, designed in collaboration with and to meet the needs of the Outdoor Research Snow Athlete Team — premier leather skiing and riding mitts strategically designed to meet the demands of our snow athlete team, crafted with bluesign® approved materials featuring a nylon stretch woven outer and durable leather palm, GORE-TEX® ePE waterproof insert keeping hands dry, VerticalX™ ECO insulation providing warmth without the bulk, finished with a soft suede leather nose wipe on the back of the thumb and a low-cling wicking stretch woven lining, touchscreen-compatible leather thumb for smartphone or GPS use without removing the mitts, pre-curved fit enhancing grip and comfort, VELCRO® Brand closure strap and under-cuff design sealing out the cold, with robust pull-on loop, removable leashes, and glove clip for practical ease of use — whether skinning to the saddle or descending rowdy terrain in the sidecountry, a team favorite high-performance hand protection for active on-snow use.

VerticalX™ ECO synthetic insulation (85% recycled polyester) is mapped for strategic warmth — 200 g/m² on the back of the hand where wind hits hardest, 130 g/m² on the palm where dexterity matters most. Warmth without bulk for active skiing and riding.
Water-Resistant Goat Leather Palm

Under-Cuff Design with VELCRO® Brand Strap
Low-profile under-cuff design with secure VELCRO® Brand closure strap — slides cleanly under jacket cuffs without bulk or interference. Wrist strap customizes the seal and keeps cold air out.
Includes Nikwax Waterproofing Wax Sample

Spot Clean Leather
Wipe goat leather palm and thumb with a damp cloth after use — avoid soaking the leather, which can stiffen it. Use a leather-specific cleaner for stubborn dirt or stains.
Use Included Nikwax Sample
Apply the included Nikwax Waterproofing Wax to leather surfaces before first use and every 2-3 weeks thereafter — maintains water resistance and leather suppleness over the life of the mitt.
Treat Leather Periodically
Continue leather conditioning every 2-3 weeks of active use — extends leather life dramatically and keeps the palm supple for pole/binding work and grip.
Dry Thoroughly Between Uses
Open the cuff and let mitts air dry completely at room temperature after wet days — stuffing with newspaper speeds drying and maintains shape. Never dry near direct heat (radiator, fire, dryer).
Hand Wash Only (If Needed)
If the mitts need a full wash, hand wash gently in cold water with a mild technical detergent — avoid machine washing, which can damage the GORE-TEX® ePe insert and stiffen the leather.

All component items (wheels, drivetrains, suspension, brakes, etc.) ship within 4-7 business days of purchase.

Bicycles:

Complete bikes typically ship within 2–3 weeks due to build, tuning, and inspection times. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is ready to ship.

 Gear & Apparel:

Outdoor Gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 5-21 business days. Please reach out to us with the most up to date deliveries times as they vary per Manufacturer. 

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
