Strategic VerticalX™ ECO Insulation

VerticalX™ ECO synthetic insulation (85% recycled polyester) is mapped for strategic warmth — 200 g/m² on the back of the hand where wind hits hardest, 130 g/m² on the palm where dexterity matters most. Warmth without bulk for active skiing and riding.

Water-Resistant Goat Leather

Durable water-resistant goat leather on both palm AND back of hand — delivers exceptional grip on poles, leashes, and zipper pulls while providing enhanced abrasion resistance in high-wear zones.

Stretch Nyspan Fabric

Stretch Nyspan fabric enhances flexibility and freedom of movement for improved dexterity — moves with your hands during pole plants, binding adjustments, and grip-heavy maneuvers without binding.

Spot Clean Leather

Wipe goat leather palm and thumb with a damp cloth after use — avoid soaking the leather, which can stiffen it. Use a leather-specific cleaner for stubborn dirt or stains.

Treat Leather Periodically

Apply a leather conditioner or waterproofing treatment (like Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather) 2-3 times per season to maintain suppleness and water resistance — extends leather life and keeps the palm supple.

Hand Wash Only

If the mitts need a full wash, hand wash gently in cold water with a mild technical detergent — avoid machine washing, which can damage the GORE-TEX® ePe insert and stiffen the leather.

Dry Thoroughly Between Uses

Open the cuff and let mitts air dry completely at room temperature after wet days — never dry near direct heat (radiator, fire, dryer). Heat damages insulation loft and leather integrity.

Re-Proof DWR Periodically

Refresh the shell's DWR finish every 20-30 days of use to maintain water resistance and breathability.

Returns & Exchanges:
