Men's Rocky Mountain High Gaiter II

Built for technical days on trail, the Rocky Mountain High Gaiters II deliver reliable protection against debris, weather, and rough terrain during hikes, snowshoe missions, and cross-country scrambles. Durable 100% nylon with PU-coated 420D packcloth stands up to abrasion while keeping snow, dirt, and rocks out of your boots.

Durable 100% Nylon Construction
420D packcloth with PU coating stands up to abrasion from rocks, crampons, and brushy trails while shedding water and snow.
Durable Hypalon Instep Strap
Reinforced Hypalon instep strap wraps under the boot and locks the gaiter in place through technical terrain and steep sidehilling.
Hook-and-Loop Front Closure
Wide hook-and-loop front closure seals out snow, ice, and debris while allowing quick on/off over pants and shells.
Reinforced Boot Lace Hooks
Lace hooks at the front secure the gaiter to your boot laces — keeps the gaiter in place on steep terrain and prevents ride-up.
Abrasion-Resistant
Tough 420D packcloth shell resists wear from crampons, ski edges, and rocky terrain — keeps gaiters in service season after season.
Water-Resistant
PU coating sheds light moisture, snow, and slush — keeps pants and boots drier through variable mountain weather.
Breathable
Nylon shell construction vents excess heat and moisture so legs don't overheat during high-output days on the trail.

Spot Clean When Possible
Wipe down the shell with a damp cloth and mild soap to handle everyday dirt and trail grime without putting the PU coating through unnecessary wash cycles.
Hand Wash Gently
Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent if needed. Avoid harsh detergents and machine washing, which can degrade the PU coating and damage the Hypalon instep strap.
Air Dry Completely
Open the gaiters fully and air dry at room temperature away from direct heat. Ensure they're fully dry before storing to prevent mildew.
Close Fasteners Before Washing
Secure the hook-and-loop front closure before laundering to prevent snagging on the nylon shell.
Do Not Bleach
Bleach will degrade the nylon shell and PU coating.
Do Not Iron
Direct heat from an iron will melt the PU coating and damage the Hypalon instep strap.
Do Not Dry Clean
Dry cleaning solvents will damage the PU coating and degrade the nylon shell.
