Adjustable Hood with Brim Stiffener

Hood adjusts cleanly around the head with a lightweight brim stiffener that holds shape in wind and driving precip.

Single Separating Center Front Zipper

Full-length separating front zipper with no-snag webbing behind it for easy venting and reliable operation with gloves on.

Brushed Tricot Hand Pockets

Hand pockets lined with brushed tricot feel soft against cold fingers and warm quickly between belay transitions.

Machine Wash Cold with Down-Specific Detergent

Use a technical down-specific wash (no standard detergent) on a gentle cycle with cold water. Close all zippers and turn the hoodie inside out before washing.

Tumble Dry Low with Tennis Balls

Tumble dry on low heat with two or three clean tennis balls for 2–3 cycles. The balls break up down clumps and restore the 800+ fill loft after washing.

Do Not Bleach or Fabric Softener

Avoid chlorine bleach and liquid fabric softener — both strip natural oils from down feathers and degrade the waterproof Dermizax™ overlays.

Do Not Iron or Dry Clean

Heat from an iron will scorch the ripstop face; dry cleaning solvents strip the DWR treatment on the Dermizax™ overlays.

Store Uncompressed

Hang the hoodie loosely or store in a large breathable sack between trips. Long-term compression in a stuff sack damages down loft and reduces warmth over time.
