Water-Resistant Goat Leather Palm & Top Overlay

A full water-resistant goat leather palm and top-of-hand overlay deliver durable, supple grip on steering wheels, leashes, coffee cups, and tools, while resisting abrasion and wear from daily use over many seasons.

Brushed Fleece Lining

A 100% polyester brushed fleece lining feels soft and warm against the skin, wicks a small amount of moisture, and adds another layer of insulation for cool morning commutes and dog walks.

Touchscreen Compatible

Index finger and thumb materials are tuned for capacitive touchscreens, so you can check notifications, change a song, or unlock a door without exposing your hands to the cold.

Leather Care

Wipe the leather palm and back-of-hand overlay with a damp cloth after each use to remove dirt, salt, and grime. Periodically treat the leather with a leather conditioner or waterproofing balm (e.g. Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather) to maintain suppleness and water resistance across seasons of daily wear.

Cleaning

Hand wash in cold water with a mild leather-specific or wool-safe detergent. Do not machine wash, bleach, fabric softener, or standard laundry soap, which can felt the wool fibers, strip the leather's natural oils, and degrade the water-resistant finish.

Drying

Air dry at room temperature away from direct heat and sunlight. Stuff the gloves loosely with paper towels or a clean dry cloth to absorb moisture and hold the shape of the fingers while drying. Do not tumble dry, wring, or dry on a radiator.

Waterproofing Refresh

Re-treat the leather palm and top overlay annually with a leather-specific waterproofing wax to maintain water resistance during wet commutes, snow shoveling, and damp dog walks.

Storage

Allow gloves to dry fully before storing. Keep flat or stuffed with tissue in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Store away from rodents that may chew through the wool-blend fleece or leather.
