ACG Lava Loft Women's Therma-FIT Jacket

Researched in a lab, tested on the trails. This jacket has the tech you need to take on frigid miles—down-filled baffles for warmth and AeroLoft perforations for breathability. Stretchy panels help you move with ease and adjustable details let you dial in your fit. Don't need the warmth? It packs into the pocket for compact storage.

AeroLoft Strategic Breathability
"AeroLoft technology places perforations between baffles to vent moisture in high-heat areas" — the engineered perforations release excess heat and perspiration vapor where the body runs hottest, typically the upper back and under the arms. The hybrid design keeps warmth where it's needed and vents where it's not, addressing the classic down-jacket problem of clamminess on the climb.
Down-Filled Baffles
"Duck down captures warm air between its fine fibers, helping keep the warmth in and the cold out" — baffle construction prevents the down from shifting or clumping, so the insulation stays evenly distributed across the body. The duck-down fill delivers reliable warmth for frigid trail miles at a lower price point than goose-down alternatives.
4-Way Stretch Panels
"Panels with 4-way stretch help keep your movement unrestricted" — strategically placed stretch panels (80% polyester / 20% spandex) move with the body during high-output activity. The flexible panels reach across the shoulders, sides, and under the arms where the body needs the most range of motion on technical trail movement.
2-Way Zipper + Bungee Hem
"A bungee system at the hem and a 2-way zipper let you dial in your fit" — the two-way front zipper enables venting from the bottom for unrestricted movement when climbing, and the elastic drawcord with bungee at the hem seals out drafts. Cinch the hem tight in cold wind, or loosen for extra airflow on the climb.
Packable Design
"Pack all 10 ounces of this jacket into the internal pocket for easy storage" — the entire jacket compresses into its own internal pocket, creating a self-contained stuff sack for stashing in a pack. The packable design makes it easy to strip off when conditions warm up, with no separate stuff sack to lose on the trail.
Reflective ACG + Swoosh Logos
"Reflective Nike ACG and Nike Swoosh logos" — reflective hits at the chest add low-light visibility for early-morning starts and late-afternoon finishes in the backcountry. The reflective branding keeps the wearer visible on dim trailheads and unlit roads.
Made with Recycled Polyester
The body and panel lining is built with at least 50% recycled polyester fibers, sourced from recycled plastic bottles. The recycled construction reduces carbon emissions by up to 30% compared to virgin polyester while delivering the same technical performance as the original material.

Machine Wash
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a down-safe or technical detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and harsh detergents, which can damage the stretch panels and the natural oils in the duck down. Wash separately from abrasive items like jeans or packs with rough straps. Close all zippers before washing.
Drying
Tumble dry on low heat with two or three clean tennis balls or dryer balls to break up clumps and restore the down's loft. The drying process can take multiple cycles — down must be fully dry to prevent mildew and clumping. Avoid high heat, which can damage the stretch panels, the down fibers, and the AeroLoft perforations.
Storage
Store uncompressed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid leaving the jacket stuffed in its pack pocket for long periods, which can permanently compress the down and reduce its insulating power. Use a large breathable storage bag or hang in a closet for long-term storage.
Recycled Material Care
The recycled polyester shell and stretch panels benefit from occasional re-proofing to maintain water resistance and durability over time. Avoid fabric softeners and dryer sheets, which can coat the recycled fibers and reduce their breathability. If the shell loses its water beading, treat with a technical re-proofing spray designed for technical outerwear.
