ACG Lava Flow Women's Therma-FIT ADV Hooded Jacket

Here's this jacket in a nutshell: Heat-regulating, water-repellent and lightweight. That chill in the air? Handled thanks to PrimaLoft® insulation and Nike Therma-FIT ADV tech. And when you don't need insulated warmth, fold it into the internal pocket for safekeeping.

PrimaLoft® Synthetic Insulation
"PrimaLoft® insulation and Nike Therma-FIT ADV work together to give you advanced heat-regulating tech that helps keep you warm in cold-weather conditions" — PrimaLoft is the gold-standard synthetic insulation for outdoor gear, delivering the warmth of down with the wet-weather performance of a synthetic fill. The synthetic fibers hold insulating loft even when damp, so the jacket continues to trap heat in light rain, snow, and high-output conditions where the wearer might work up a sweat.
Nike Therma-FIT ADV Heat Regulation
"Heat-regulating, water-repellent and lightweight" — Nike's Therma-FIT ADV is the advanced tier of the Therma-FIT system, combining heat retention with breathability to keep the core warm without overheating during high-output activity. The ADV treatment helps the jacket manage the body's natural thermoregulation, so the wearer stays warm on cold ridgelines and doesn't overheat on the climb up.
Water-Repellent Shell
"Water-repellent tech" — the DWR (durable water-repellent) finish on the nylon shell sheds light rain and snow, so a passing shower won't soak through and chill the wearer. The water repellency is built into the shell fabric and works in tandem with the PrimaLoft insulation, which continues to insulate even when damp.
Brushed Collar + Pocket Lining
"Brushed lining on the inside of the collar and pockets is soft, warm and quick-drying" — the brushed interior on the collar and pocket bags adds a soft, fleece-like next-to-skin feel that warms on contact, eliminating the cold-plastic sensation of a standard nylon shell. The brushed lining also wicks moisture away from the skin and dries quickly, keeping the wearer comfortable during high-output activity.
Packable Internal Pocket
"Fold it into the internal pocket for safekeeping" — the entire jacket compresses into its own internal pocket, creating a self-contained stuff sack for stashing in a pack. The packable design makes it easy to strip off when the climb warms up, with no separate stuff sack to lose on the trail.
ACG Tribiner Carabiner
"Use the ACG tribiner to hook it to your pack" — the integrated ACG tribiner is a small triangular carabiner that lets the wearer clip the packed jacket to a pack strap, harness, or loop. The carabiner keeps the packable jacket accessible when the weather shifts, eliminating the need to dig through a pack to find the layer.
2-Way Zipper + Bungee Hem with Cord Locks
"A bungee system at the waist and a two-way zipper let you dial in your fit" — the two-way front zipper enables venting from the bottom for unrestricted movement when climbing or pushing hard on the trail. "Bungee and cord locks at hem" — the elastic bungee with cord locks seals out drafts and traps warmth in the core, with quick cinch adjustment on the fly.
Layer-Friendly Standard Fit
"This jacket is intended to fit over a base or under an outer shell" — the standard cut is calibrated for layering, sliding cleanly over a base layer and fitting comfortably under a hardshell or rain shell. The versatile cut works in a wide range of cold-weather systems.
ACG Earth Bead + Locker Loop
"ACG Earth bead" + "Locker loop" — the ACG Earth bead is a small outdoor-heritage detail on the garment, paired with a locker loop at the inside collar for hanging the jacket on a hook at home or in a gear room. The combined details mark the jacket as part of the ACG heritage line.

Machine Wash
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a technical or mild detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and harsh detergents, which can strip the DWR finish on the nylon shell, damage the PrimaLoft insulation, and degrade the Therma-FIT ADV treatment. Close all zippers and secure the ACG tribiner before washing to prevent the carabiner from snagging on the fabric or other garments.
Drying
Tumble dry on low heat with two or three clean tennis balls or dryer balls to break up clumps and restore the PrimaLoft insulation's loft. The drying process can take multiple cycles — synthetic insulation must be fully dry to perform at its best. Avoid high heat, which can damage the DWR finish, melt the nylon shell, and degrade the ACG tribiner, bungee, and cord-lock hardware.
DWR Refresh
The DWR finish on the nylon shell will wear off over time and with washing. Refresh the treatment periodically with a spray-on re-proofing product designed for technical outerwear. A well-maintained DWR keeps the shell light and functional in wet conditions; if water stops beading on the surface and starts soaking into the shell, the DWR needs refreshing.
Storage
Store uncompressed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid leaving the jacket stuffed in its pack pocket for long periods, which can permanently reduce the PrimaLoft insulation's loft and warmth. Use a large breathable storage bag or hang in a closet for long-term storage to keep the synthetic fill performing at its best.
