UV Blocking Technology

"UV protection" — the fabric finish blocks harmful UV rays, making the jacket ideal for hiking, climbing, fishing, or any extended outdoor activity where sun exposure is a concern. Water-Repellent Finish
"Water-repellent and UV-resistant finishes help keep you comfortable in light rain or sun" — the water-repellent finish sheds light precipitation and dries quickly, while the UV-resistant finish blocks sun. "Light rain or sun" — the Smith Summit handles both conditions without needing a separate rain shell for brief showers.
Mesh-Lined Back Vents
"The back has mesh-lined vents for comfortable breathability" — the back ventilation prevents heat buildup during high-output activities. "Mesh-lined" — the mesh adds structure to the vents so they don't collapse against the back. The vents provide airflow when you need it and can be covered when you don't.
Cargo + Side-Seam Pockets

Washing
Machine wash cold with like colors. Tumble dry low. The water-repellent finish will gradually wear off with repeated washings, but can be restored with a technical fabric wash-in treatment. Use a gentle cycle to preserve the UV-resistant finish and the embroidered ACG and Swoosh logos.
Drying
Tumble dry low or hang dry. The nylon/spandex blend dries quickly and resists wrinkles. Avoid high heat, which can damage the UV-resistant finish and the embroidered logos. Remove promptly from the dryer to minimize creasing.
UV Finish Care
To restore the UV-resistant finish after extensive washing, use a technical fabric UV treatment spray. The treatment creates a UV-blocking layer on the fabric fibers that helps maintain the sun protection over the life of the jacket. Reapply after every 5-10 washes for optimal UV performance.
Storage
Store hanging on a wide hanger in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding for long periods, as creases can weaken the water-repellent finish. Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading of the Black/Anthracite/Summit White colorway, even though the fabric itself is UV-resistant.

Outdoor Gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 5-21 business days. Please reach out to us with the most up to date deliveries times as they vary per Manufacturer. 

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
