ACG "Smith Summit" Men's Cargo Pants

Built to test on the trail and refined for the everyday. The ACG Smith Summit Cargo Pants take the lightweight, weather-ready build of the standard Smith Summit and add cargo storage for extra utility. Designed and tested in Italy's Dolomite mountains, the water-repellent and UV-resistant fabric handles the demands of hut-to-hut trekking while the loose fit and bungee hem keep you comfortable and adjustable on the trail.

Tested in the Dolomite Mountains
"Designed and tested in Italy's Dolomite mountains" — the Smith Summit was developed and field-tested in the Italian Alps. "Hut-to-hut trekking" — the pants were tested on multi-day treks with real-world use, from technical scrambling to casual walking through alpine meadows. The result is a versatile outdoor pant built for serious conditions.
Water-Repellent + UV-Resistant
"The water-repellent and UV-resistant tech" — the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish sheds light rain and mist, while the UV-resistant fabric blocks harmful sun rays. "Demands of trekking" — the dual protection handles the variable conditions of mountain environments, from sun-baked ridges to sudden showers.
Cargo Pocket Storage
The cargo pant construction adds utility for outdoor use. The cargo pockets provide additional storage for small items like snacks, a map, a phone, or a headlamp. "Extra utility" — the cargo pockets expand the pant's carrying capacity without needing a backpack for short outings.
Loose Fit + Bungee Hem
"The loose fit and bungee hem keep you comfortable and adjustable on the trail" — the roomy cut provides freedom of movement for hiking, scrambling, and casual wear. "Bungee hem" — the adjustable drawcord at the ankle cinches the pants to keep out debris and water, or loosens for ventilation. The hem adjusts to your footwear choice, from boots to shoes.

"The ACG Smith Summit" — named for a peak or place (like the other Smith Summit products), the cargo pant carries the Smith Summit's outdoor-ready technical details. Washing
Machine wash cold with like colors. The water-repellent and UV-resistant treatments require gentle care to maintain their performance. Use a technical wash cleaner designed for outdoor/waterproof garments. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, which can degrade the DWR coating and the UV-resistant finish.
Drying
Tumble dry low or hang dry. The Smith Summit fabric benefits from occasional tumble drying on low heat to reactivate the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating. Avoid high heat, which can damage the bungee hem adjusters and the elastic waistband.
DWR Reapplication
To restore the water-repellent finish after extensive washing, use a technical fabric DWR spray or wash-in treatment. The treatment creates a water-shedding layer on the outer fabric that helps maintain the water-resistant performance over the life of the pants. Reapply after every 5-10 washes for optimal performance.
Storage
Store hanging on a wide hanger or folded in a gear closet. Avoid storing in damp conditions, as moisture can compromise the DWR finish. Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading of the Black/Black/Summit White colorway.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
