ACG Pegasus Trail Men's Trail Running Shoes

Run your scenic miles with cushioned comfort and grippy traction. A shoe made for the trails with the responsiveness you know from the road. That's what the ACG Pegasus Trail is for — running scenic miles in cushioned comfort. We made sure it has the grip you need for traction on wet terrain. And the fit? A wider forefoot gives your toes extra wiggle room.

ReactX Foam Midsole
"This edition of the Peg Trail has more ReactX foam than before" — ReactX is Nike's latest high-performance foam that delivers more energy return than previous React formulations. "The increased stack height provides energy return with a responsive, stable feel" — the taller stack delivers plush cushioning for long trail miles while maintaining the responsiveness trail runners need for varied terrain.
Nike ATC High-Traction Outsole
"This generation of Nike's All Terrain Compound (ATC) gives you more traction than previous versions" — Nike's ATC is purpose-built for trail and outdoor conditions, providing grip on wet rock, loose dirt, and technical terrain. "Splash your way through wet trails and technical terrain" — the high-traction outsole handles the conditions where regular road shoes would slip.
Engineered Mesh Upper
"The upper is made from lightweight engineered mesh that combines durability and breathability" — the engineered mesh provides ventilation for hot trail conditions while remaining durable enough for brush and rock encounters. "Tried and trusted" — the mesh construction has been refined over multiple ACG iterations for optimal breathability and durability.
Wider Toe Box for Trail Stability
"We added extra room in the toe box and forefoot for comfort all the miles long" — the wider toe box allows natural foot splay on uneven terrain, improving balance and reducing fatigue. "A wider design means more stability on technical trails" — the extra room accommodates foot swelling on long runs and provides a stable platform for landing and pushing off on varied terrain.
Road-Responsive Trail Performance
"A shoe made for the trails with the responsiveness you know from the road" — the Pegasus Trail brings the road-running pedigree of the Pegasus line to the trails. "The responsiveness you know from the road" — the ReactX foam provides the energy return and smooth ride that road runners expect, now adapted for trail conditions.
All-Terrain Versatility
"Running scenic miles in cushioned comfort" — the Pegasus Trail is designed for the runner who wants one shoe for both road and trail. "Scenic miles" implies long, enjoyable runs where comfort and traction matter equally. The ACG Pegasus Trail handles the transition from pavement to dirt without missing a beat.

Weight & Specs
"Weight: Approx. 305g/10.8oz (Men's US 10)" — the Pegasus Trail is light enough for fast trail running and long days. "Heel-to-toe drop: 8mm" — the 8mm drop provides a balanced feel that works for both heel strikers and midfoot strikers. The moderate drop is versatile for varied terrain and running styles.
Cleaning
Remove loose dirt and trail debris from the outsole and upper after each run. Wipe the mesh upper with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove mud, dust, and sweat salts. Avoid machine washing, which can damage the ReactX foam, the mesh structure, and the Nike ATC outsole compound. Air dry at room temperature.
Drying
Remove the insoles and loosen the laces to allow airflow inside the shoe. Stuff with newspaper or paper towels to absorb moisture and maintain shape. Air dry at room temperature away from direct heat or sunlight. Avoid machine drying or placing near a radiator, as excessive heat can damage the ReactX foam and adhesive.
Outsole Care
Inspect the Nike ATC outsole regularly for wear or embedded debris. Remove any rocks or sticks stuck in the tread to prevent damage to the lugs. The Nike ATC rubber is highly durable, but trail running on rocky terrain can accelerate wear. If the lugs become worn down, consider replacing the shoes to maintain traction.
