ACG Cloud Trekker Men's Full-Zip Hiking Jacket

Venture beyond the cloudline in water-repellent comfort. Feet on solid ground, head (literally) in the clouds — that's what this jacket was made for. To put it to the test, we traveled to Yunnan, China. There, in the remote beauty and thin air, we saw the need for water-repellent fabric and breathability. Four-way stretch pairs with articulated seams for ease of movement on the path that's sandwiched between earth and sky.

Tested in Yunnan, China
"To put it to the test, we traveled to Yunnan, China" — the Cloud Trekker was field-tested in one of China's most remote and beautiful regions. "Remote beauty and thin air" — the high-altitude testing ensured the jacket could handle mountain weather, variable conditions, and active use. "The path that's sandwiched between earth and sky" — the Cloud Trekker is built for hikes where you experience full exposure to the elements.
Four-Way Stretch + Articulated Seams
"Four-way stretch pairs with articulated seams for ease of movement" — the stretch fabric allows unrestricted movement during high-output activities like hiking, scrambling, and climbing. "Articulated seams" — the strategically placed seams at the elbows and shoulders allow natural arm motion without pulling the fabric. "Designed to move with you" — the combination of stretch and articulation eliminates the binding feel of traditional hiking jackets.
Water-Repellent Finish
"Water-repellent finish helps keep you dry in wet weather" — the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish sheds light rain and mist, keeping the jacket from getting soaked in drizzle. "Wet weather" — the water-repellent treatment adds versatility for variable conditions, though it's not fully waterproof like a hardshell.
Elongated Hood Brim + Storm Flap
"We elongated the hood brim and storm flap for extra coverage in light rain" — the extended hood brim shields the face from rain and sun, while the storm flap behind the front zipper prevents water from seeping through the closure. "Extra coverage in light rain" — the elongated design provides additional protection beyond a standard hood.
Adjustable Bungee Details
"We added a bungee on the back of the hood and at the hem" — the bungee drawcords let you dial in the fit. "Dial in your fit" — the hood bungee tightens the hood around your face for better protection, while the hem bungee cinches the waist to seal out drafts and retain warmth.
Zippered Pockets + 2-Way Zipper
"Zippered hand pockets and chest pocket offer secure storage" — three zippered pockets keep essentials secure during active use. "Two-way front zipper gives styling versatility" — the 2-way zipper allows you to unzip from the bottom for ventilation or hip belt compatibility, and to open the top while keeping the bottom closed for warmth.

Washing
Machine wash cold with like colors. The four-way stretch fabric and DWR coating require gentle care to maintain their performance. Use a technical wash cleaner designed for stretch and water-repellent garments. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and harsh detergents, which can degrade the stretch fibers and the DWR coating.
Drying
Tumble dry low or hang dry. The spandex blend dries quickly. Avoid high heat, which can damage the stretch fibers and reduce the four-way stretch performance. The DWR finish may need to be reactivated with a low-heat tumble dry.
DWR Reapplication
To restore the water-repellent finish after extensive washing, use a technical fabric DWR spray or wash-in treatment. The treatment creates a water-shedding layer on the outer fabric that helps maintain the water-resistant performance over the life of the jacket. Reapply after every 5-10 washes for optimal performance.
Storage
Store hanging on a wide hanger in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding for long periods, as creases can weaken the DWR finish. Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading of the Cream II/Light Orewood Brown/Summit White colorway. The locker loop allows for easy hanging on hooks in gear closets or mudrooms.
