Packed full of tech and features as our adult boot collection, the unisex K2 Sidecar gives your grom the confidence to handle anything you put in front of them. The BOA® Fit System with TX3 lace is both secure and durable. Inside, the heat-moldable Comfort EVA liner is warm and breathable and can be custom-fit to any foot shape, with internal J-bars that hug the ankles for a supportive and responsive fit. The unique Grows-A-Long shim system extends the boot's life as your grom grows. Performs best in combination with the K2 Sidecar Snowboards and Snowboard bindings.

BOA® Fit System with TX3 Lace
Single BOA® dial with TX3 lace — secure and durable micro-adjustable closure that's easy to operate for young riders learning to dial in their own fit. The low-friction TX3 textile lace provides smooth tightening and loosening.
Heat-Moldable Comfort EVA Liner
Warm and breathable — can be custom-fit to any foot shape for personalized comfort. The EVA construction breaks in quickly and delivers all-day warmth for groms on long mountain days.
Internal J-Bars
Hug the ankles for a supportive and responsive fit — adds structure and reduces heel lift during turns. Helps young riders develop proper edge control from the start.
Grows-A-Long Shim System
K2's Grows-A-Long shim system extends the boot's life beyond a single season — replace the shims to expand the internal volume as your grom grows. The most sustainable growth approach for young riders' boots.

Sizing Note
US Kids' sizing. The Sidecar Youth is for very young riders (groms) — sizes 3-7 are roughly equivalent to US Men's 3-5. The Grows-A-Long shim system extends the effective size range as your grom grows.

Liner Care
Remove the Comfort EVA Liner periodically to air out. Heat-moldable for custom fit; have a qualified boot fitter handle any custom molding for the best fit. The EVA construction is forgiving and breaks in fast.
BOA® System Care
The BOA® dial is designed for years of use — keep the dial free of snow and ice by tapping after each run. The TX3 textile lace is replaceable through K2 customer service if frayed.
Grows-A-Long Shim Maintenance
The Grows-A-Long shim system allows the boot to grow with your grom. Periodically check the shims — if they're at maximum expansion, it may be time to move up to the next size. Replace the shims (not the whole boot) for the most sustainable growth approach.
Storage & Sizing
Store the boots in a cool, dry place between sessions. Loosen the BOA® dial between rides to extend the life of the closure system. The Sidecar Youth uses US Kids' sizing (3-7) for the youngest groms.

Shipping Policy

Components:

All component items (wheels, drivetrains, suspension, brakes, etc.) ship within 4-7 business days of purchase.

Bicycles:

Complete bikes typically ship within 2–3 weeks due to build, tuning, and inspection times. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is ready to ship.

 Gear & Apparel:

Outdoor Gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 5-21 business days. Please reach out to us with the most up to date deliveries times as they vary per Manufacturer. 

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
