Hookset Sunglasses

Fighting your catch in open water or standing waist deep in a mountain stream, the Hookset is the one you grab to see below the surface. Because glare is every angler's adversary, it's built with a variety of lens options, all with glare-cutting polarization that enhances contrast and depth perception. Minimal bottom rims keep moisture from pooling up, while no-slip nose pads ensure they stay comfortably in place until the sun sets.

Moisture-Shedding Frame Design
Strategic frame chamfers let moisture exit off the lens and away from the groove, and minimal bottom rims leave no channel for water to pool in — so spray, sweat, and river spray drain away instead of fogging or dripping into your line of sight.
ChromaPop™ Polarized Options
ChromaPop™ polarized lenses cut glare and enhance color and contrast, bringing out submerged structure and bottom contours that flat, untinted lenses wash out. Essential for reading water clarity, weed lines, and submerged structure.
ChromaPop™ Glass Polarized
ChromaPop™ Glass polarized lenses cut glare and enhance color and contrast while being highly scratch-resistant — the durability pick for rocky shorelines, wading, and repeated gear-bag contact.
ChromaPop™ Polarchromic™
ChromaPop™ Polarchromic™ lenses combine polarization with tint-adjusting photochromic technology, giving light-adaptive performance and visual clarity as conditions shift from open sun to heavy cloud cover.
8-Base Wraparound Fit
An 8-base lens curvature delivers a wraparound fit that blocks light and glare from the sides as well as the front — wide, unobstructed coverage for scanning the water and reading structure in every direction.
Megol™ Temple & Nose Pad Grip
Megol™ temple and nose pads provide non-slip grip so the glasses stay put on wet decks, sweaty days, and long hours on the water without sliding or needing adjustment.
Self-Adjusting Spring Hinges
Spring hinges self-adjust to your face for a snug, comfortable fit that holds through aggressive casting, trolling, and the constant head movement of working water.
Evolve™ Bio-Based Frame
Evolve™ bio-based frame material is lightweight and durable, with a lower environmental footprint than conventional plastics.
PivLock™ Leash Retainer
The included PivLock™ leash retainer seamlessly attaches to your frames to keep them safe and within reach, so losing a pair of polarized lenses to the water stops being a real risk.

Lens Cleaning
Clean with the included microfiber bag and a small amount of water or lens cleaner. Never use paper towels, a shirt hem, or household cleaners — grit and fabric fibers scratch the lens coatings and permanently degrade optical clarity.
Frame Care
Rinse salt, river silt, and sweat off the frame and megol pads after every session with fresh water, especially after saltwater fishing. Salt crystal and mineral buildup clogs the frame chamfers and degrades the pads over time. Dry with a soft cloth before storing.
Storage
Store in the hard case provided, in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Never leave the glasses loose in a boat console, glove box, or dashboard — heat and pressure will warp the frame and damage the lenses.
Polarized & Polarchromic Lens Care
Place polarized lenses face-down on a clean, soft surface when not in use to prevent scratches against the frame or case lining. Polarchromic lenses darken with UV exposure and will not activate behind a windshield — allow them to clear in shade and store them clear so they aren't stuck dark.
Handling
Use the temples, not the lenses, when handling. Attach the PivLock™ leash before working rigged water or landing fish, and confirm the retainer is seated on the frame before you start.
