Yes, that's really what Capita calls it. The Dharma Stomp Pad is a stomp pad — a grippy foam pad that mounts between your bindings so your boot stays put when you take one foot out for the lift, skate a cat track, or land one-footed.
High-Grip EVA Foam
Capita's textured EVA foam delivers the grip you need for one-footed riding, lift-line shuffles, and skate-style maneuvers. Locks your boot sole in place without wearing out your boot.
3M Adhesive Backing
Industrial-grade 3M adhesive holds the pad in place through wet snow, icy conditions, and the occasional edge catch. Peel-and-stick application — no tools needed.
Diamond-Cut Traction Pattern
Precision-cut pattern for maximum grip with minimum boot wear. Multi-directional — no sliding in any direction, front, back, or sideways.

Wipe the stomp pad with a damp cloth to remove dirt, salt, and grime as needed. The textured EVA surface can trap snow and ice in the deeper grooves — a quick brush with a soft-bristle brush keeps the traction channels clear.

Inspection

Periodically check the adhesive edges for lifting — especially after hard impacts or in icy spring conditions. If the corners start to peel, warm the area with a hairdryer and press firmly back down to re-adhere.

Replacement

Replace the stomp pad when the traction pattern is worn smooth (no more grip) or when the adhesive fails and the pad won\'t stay down. Typical lifespan is 1-2 seasons of regular use — longer for park-only riders who don\'t use the stomp pad as often.

Use Tips

Install centered between your bindings on the side you take out most often (usually the front foot for skaters and switch riders). Make sure the topsheet is clean and dry before application — use rubbing alcohol for the best adhesion. For maximum coverage, install one pad between your front and rear bindings AND a second pad on the nose or tail for one-footed nose/tail presses.
