When to Apply
Apply BlueLube after every cleaning of your knife — cleaning removes old oil, debris, and any buildup, leaving the mechanism ready for fresh lubrication. Also apply any time you notice the action getting gritty, slow, or stiff — early application prevents wear on the pivot and lock interfaces before it becomes a problem. For knives used in wet environments or stored for long periods, a preventive application every few months keeps rust and corrosion at bay.
Application Tips
A little BlueLube goes a long way — one drop per pivot or lock interface is typically all that's needed. Use the precision dropper tip to place oil directly on the pivot screw, AXIS lock bar interfaces, and any other moving metal-to-metal contact points. Work the mechanism open and closed several times after application to distribute the oil evenly through the action, then wipe away any excess. Avoid over-application — excess oil can attract dust and debris, working against the clean operation you're trying to achieve.
Cleaning Before Application
For best results, clean the mechanism before applying BlueLube. Wipe the knife down with a soft cloth, and for deep cleaning of the pivot area, use mild soap and water or a dedicated knife cleaner. Dry thoroughly before applying BlueLube — applying lubricant over moisture traps it against the metal and can accelerate corrosion rather than prevent it.
Storage
Store BlueLube upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep the dropper tip clean to prevent contamination and ensure precise application. With proper storage, a 1 oz bottle lasts through many maintenance cycles for a personal knife rotation.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
