At 4.23 ounces with a substantial handle profile and a 3.88" drop-point blade, it carries more presence in the pocket than Benchmade's ultralight folders, but that extra heft delivers the durability and corrosion resistance needed for hard use in saltwater, freshwater, and humid environments. The corrosion-resistant construction — premium stainless blade steel paired with the ambidextrous AXIS lock's stainless steel internal components — shrugs off the rust and pitting that punish ordinary folders after a season on the water. Paired with a deep-carry pocket clip and an included paracord lanyard for easy pocket access, the Adira is built to be the one folder you reach for when the work moves from boat to beach to tackle shop. Cleaning
Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after exposure to saltwater — salt is the enemy of any knife, even corrosion-resistant ones. Wipe the blade and handle with a soft, dry cloth after each use. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly — especially the pivot area and lock interfaces.
Lubrication
Apply a small drop of corrosion-inhibiting lubricant or light machine oil to the AXIS lock bar interfaces and pivot every few months — or after every cleaning. The stainless steel internals resist corrosion, but regular lubrication keeps deployment smooth and prevents grit buildup, especially important in sandy or saltwater environments.
Sharpening
The Adira is covered by Benchmade's LifeSharp program: free lifetime professional sharpening, cleaning, oiling, and re-calibration. Send it in or visit any authorized Benchmade dealer. For field maintenance, use quality diamond or ceramic stones at the manufacturer's recommended angle; the AXIS lock makes full disassembly safe and straightforward for deep cleaning.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry environment when not in use. After a day on the water, rinse with fresh water, dry thoroughly, and lightly oil the blade and lock interfaces before storage. Avoid storing in damp environments (boat lockers, tackle bags, vehicle trunks) for long periods — even corrosion-resistant steel benefits from dry storage.

Components:

All component items (wheels, drivetrains, suspension, brakes, etc.) ship within 4-7 business days of purchase.

Bicycles:

Complete bikes typically ship within 2–3 weeks due to build, tuning, and inspection times. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is ready to ship.

Riding Gear & Apparel:

Riding gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 3-10 business days.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
