The Stealth 270 avalanche probe offers a versatile length for recreational and professional backcountry users. Its aluminum construction balances durability and packability, while dual-sized depth markings support rescue probing and snow profiles. Stealth Quick-Lock hardware keeps the folded bundle compact and contains loose cable during rapid deployment.

Deployment Check
Fully assemble and tension the probe before each trip, confirming that the Quick-Lock hardware engages correctly. Practice rapid deployment with gloves so the probe is ready for companion rescue.
Cable & Section Inspection
Inspect every section, depth marking, ferrule, and the internal cable for bends, cracks, corrosion, or fraying. Replace the probe if damage prevents smooth deployment or a secure lock.
Cleaning
After use, wipe away snow and grit and allow the sections and cable to dry. Do not lubricate the mechanism with products not approved by the manufacturer.
Storage & Rescue Practice
Store the probe collapsed and dry in its sleeve or rescue-tool compartment. Combine regular probing practice with beacon-search and shoveling training.

Shipping Policy

Components:

All component items (wheels, drivetrains, suspension, brakes, etc.) ship within 4-7 business days of purchase.

Bicycles:

Complete bikes typically ship within 2–3 weeks due to build, tuning, and inspection times. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is ready to ship.

 Gear & Apparel:

Outdoor Gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 5-21 business days. Please reach out to us with the most up to date deliveries times as they vary per Manufacturer. 

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
