BCA Scepter™ Adjustable Carbon Aluminum Pole

Our stiffest and lightest adjustable touring poles for backcountry skiing. With a carbon lower and 7075 aluminum upper shaft for added durability. Featuring our most-loved Scraper Grip and utility hook—a multi-use grip designed to scrape your skis or board, access heel risers, and adjust bindings and boots. We also added a releasable pole strap for additional safety in avalanche terrain. The upper shaft features a sprayed-on coating for grip texture, providing the function of a full foam grip without the added weight. Ideal for backcountry users looking to save the most weight possible without sacrificing performance.

Adjustment & Lock Checks
Extend and collapse each section before use, confirming that every clamp or locking point holds firmly. Remove ice and grit before adjustment and never overtighten a damaged mechanism.
Grips, Straps & Baskets
Inspect the Scraper Grip, utility surfaces, releasable straps, and baskets for wear. Test the strap-release function and replace damaged components before relying on the poles in avalanche terrain.
Cleaning
Wipe shafts, foam, and grips after use and allow all sections to dry. Avoid solvents that could damage foam, coatings, or strap materials.
Storage
Store the poles dry with adjustment mechanisms relieved as recommended. Keep carbon and aluminum sections protected from sharp impacts and crushing loads.

All component items (wheels, drivetrains, suspension, brakes, etc.) ship within 4-7 business days of purchase.

Bicycles:

Complete bikes typically ship within 2–3 weeks due to build, tuning, and inspection times. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is ready to ship.

 Gear & Apparel:

Outdoor Gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 5-21 business days. Please reach out to us with the most up to date deliveries times as they vary per Manufacturer. 

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
