BCA Float™ 12 Avalanche Airbag 2.0

Our lowest volume Float avalanche airbag designed for freeriding. With 12 liters of space to hold your rescue gear and essentials, this low-profile pack is ideal for lift-accessed freeriding, heli and cat skiing. The 150-liter airbag is designed to increase buoyancy and help reduce burial depth while providing head and neck coverage. The system operates with a compatible Float 2.0 compressed-air cylinder.

Float 2.0 Compressed Air Engine
The 150-liter airbag works with the Float 2.0 compressed-air cylinder system to provide buoyancy during an avalanche deployment.
BC Link Radio Compatibility
Designed to integrate with a compatible BC Link radio for accessible backcountry communication.
Hydration Compatible
A dedicated hydration provision helps keep a reservoir and hose organized for on-the-go drinking.
Diagonal Ski Carry
The diagonal carry system secures skis for bootpacking and approaches.
Vertical Snowboard Carry
External straps hold a snowboard vertically for hands-free ascents and short hikes.
Mounting Options for Most Snowshoes

Cylinder & Deployment Checks
Before each trip, confirm that a compatible Float 2.0 cylinder is full and correctly connected. Inspect the trigger, airbag, zipper paths, and leg strap, and practice deployment according to the manual.
Refill & Service
After deployment, have the cylinder refilled through a qualified refill service and inspect the complete system as directed. Do not use a damaged cylinder or attempt unapproved modifications or refilling methods.
Fabric & Hardware Care
Brush off snow and dirt, then spot clean with mild soap and water. Do not machine wash or dry. Air dry the pack fabrics and back panel fully away from direct heat, and inspect zippers, straps, and carry attachments for damage.
Storage & Avalanche Training
Store the system dry and follow the manual for battery or cylinder storage. An airbag does not guarantee survival; carry a beacon, shovel, and probe, check the avalanche forecast, and obtain proper rescue and decision-making training.
