The aluminum crystal card provides a surface to analyze and classify snow grains and also has a slope index, which allows you to determine slope angles from a topographical map. A small and powerful tool to take your snow studies to the next level.

Analysis Surface
Keep grids, classifications, and slope-index markings clean and legible. Avoid deep scratches that can obscure snow grains or measurement guides.
Temperature Management
Allow the card to equilibrate to snow-study conditions and minimize hand contact or direct sunlight that could alter crystals during examination.
Cleaning
Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth and mild cleaning method suitable for the card material. Avoid solvents, especially on printed or coated areas.
Storage
Store flat in a protective sleeve or study-kit pocket, away from sharp tools and heavy items that could bend the card or damage its surface.
