The clipless outsole — Stealth® Marathon rubber, paired with a Dotty tread pattern and an internal clipless shank (the stiff nylon plate under the cleat that distributes pedaling force and gives the shoe its efficient-pedaling snap). Marathon rubber sits in the Stealth family between harder S1 and stickier Phantom: tuned for durability and pedal platform grip over hike-a-bike scenarios. The Dotty tread handles push-up sections without clogging.

Strap + Upper Detail
The hook-and-loop top strap detail — wide enough to spread closure force across the instep, the red FIVE TEN wordmark printed through the white strap surface, integrated into the lace-cage structure. Below the strap, the synthetic-leather upper texturizes into a carbon-fiber-pattern finish that reinforces the midfoot against pedal-stroke flex. It looks like a freestyle motocross shoe. That's because it borrowed freely from that category.
