Völkl Peregrine Jr. Skis with 4.5 VMOT Jr. Bindings

The Peregrine Jr. with 4.5 VMOT Jr. bindings is a learning-focused junior carving package for lighter and younger developing skiers. Its scientifically shaped junior geometry, soft composite core, and tip rocker are designed to make turn initiation and basic edge control less demanding. The 4.5 package covers 80 through 130 cm, with Jr. vMotion S and L plate versions matched to ski length. Bindings are included but require professional mounting, adjustment, and release testing.

Learning-Focused Junior Shape
Length-specific sidecuts and radii support easy turning and the development of balanced carving fundamentals.
Soft Composite Core
The forgiving composite construction is designed for lightweight beginners who need accessible flex and predictable handling.
Tip Rocker Turn Initiation
A raised shovel helps the ski enter turns smoothly while camber through the middle and tail supports basic edge control.
4.5 VMOT Jr. Package
The included binding covers DIN 0.75–4.5 and is paired with 80–130 cm skis; an authorized technician must confirm suitability for each skier.

Mounting

Included
Peregrine Jr. skis with 4.5 VMOT Jr. bindings and premounted junior vMotion plate
Binding Setup
Mounting, boot-sole verification, adjustment, forward-pressure setting, and release testing by an authorized retailer are required before use
Drying and Daily Care
Wipe snow and moisture from the skis, edges, and binding plates after each use. Dry the topsheets and hardware thoroughly with a soft cloth, and avoid storing wet equipment in a sealed ski bag.
Base and Edge Maintenance
Inspect the bases and edges regularly for scratches, burrs, rust, and impact damage. Keep the edges appropriately tuned for groomed snow and wax the bases regularly to maintain glide and protect them from dryness.
Junior Construction Inspection
Inspect the Power Shell, topsheet, edges, and composite core for cracks, delamination, or deformation after impacts. Do not use damaged skis until a qualified ski technician has assessed them.
Binding and Plate Checks
Check that the junior vMotion plate and binding components remain secure and free of damage or contamination. Never ski with loose, incorrectly positioned, or unverified binding hardware.
Junior Binding Setup
An authorized technician must verify the binding release range, boot-sole type, sole-length adjustment, forward pressure, and release test for the individual skier. Recheck the setup after boot changes, significant growth, or any binding work.
Off-Season Storage
Clean and dry the skis, remove edge burrs, and apply protective storage wax. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heaters, and heavy loads, and have the binding system inspected before the next season.
